Being a female living alone, it's alway worrying when getting works completed on your house. I can highly recommend Steve and his colleague, they not only completed a good job replacing my shower, but were informative along the way. Had a list of various electrical works needed doing including some rewiring of a garage/office conversion, lights repairs, relocating fuse board, installing external power socket etc. Steve popped round within a week of me calling to have a look, quoted within a day and was able to complete the works within a week. Had 2 younger lads on the job who were professional and courteous also. Good value for the works done and finished job is exactly as requested including a couple of last minute changes we made to the plan. Will use again for certain!

Steve and Ben rewired our house in June'22 and they are a professional team who did a fantastic job. They were punctual and hard working. Steve is really good at giving good advice for all electrical products and lighting and he didn't mind when we kept adding items to the list, install new outside lights all around the house, replaced underfloor heating panel with a Smart one, adding extra sockets, upgraded some kitchen electrical points and replaced all spotlights to meet current regs. The wireless light switches are a game changer as it meant no chasing into the walls and it was through Steve that we found out about these. I would use SDW Electrical again so thank you Steve and Ben!

We drastically needed our fuse board updated to a new safer and Morden consumer unit, I found Steve’s company on trusted trader website and sent him a email bearing in mind it was New Year’s Day Steve replied very promptly to me and arranged to visit to look at the job we wanted doing and explaining in detail what would happen, from that moment I knew Steve and his company were the ones for us to do the job, Steve sent me a fantastic quote and after showing my wife all of the top reviews Steve had received we accepted his quote, Steve and Ben came and fitted a new consumer unit explaining everything along the way to my wife from the fitting of the board to a fault they found on a socket after doing all there tests, we were well happy with all the work so forth before Steve had finished we got him to quote for another job for us by putting in new led Down lights with new extractor fan which Steve looked at our old one and explained it was in a poor poistion and in his words very dangerous, he came up with a solution to put it through the loft and out of the soffit and put our light switch and isolater switch outside the bathroom whic is great now, both the jobs we have had done are fantastic and I would recommend Steve and his team to anybodySteve is now our first point of contact for any electrical work we need doingMany thanksJoe and Nicola Cooper

We were very impressed when we first engaged Steve’s services. After my first phone call he was able to visit our home on the same day to discuss upgrading our consumer unit. He seemed assured and competent and we felt very positive, especially when he provided a quote for the work by the end of the same day. The quote was considerably less than that provided by another company which had repeatedly let us down. He told us when we could do the work and he was as good as his word. Steve appeared on the day of the project on time with a colleague and an apprentice. They tested our circuits thoroughly before exchanging our consumer unit with an upgrade. Two LED strip lights were also installed in our loft, vastly improving the ease of moving safely within the space.Steve and his team worked methodically and tidily to complete the project within the day. They kept us posted about their progress so we were put to minimal inconvenience.We are very satisfied with the work done by Steve, Ben and Alfie. We would have no hesitation in using their services for any further electrical work and we wholeheartedly recommend the company.
