Staines Flooring

After extensive research and enquiries with several different flooring companies, I came across Staines Flooring and popped in to see what they had to offer. I met with Andy (the owner) and we had a good chat about the different types of flooring. I hadn’t heard of Karndean prior to visiting his shop but he assured me that if I decided on this particular make, I wouldn’t be disappointed. I took some time to make my final decision with Andy bringing some samples to my home with no pressure to make a quick decision. I eventually went for the Karndean Pale Limed Oak. I wanted a seamless fit all the way through from my hallway to the lounge into conservatory and into the converted garage with en-suite. I also wanted new skirting boards to complement the flooring. Once all the finer details were agreed, the lads arrived and worked non-stop to get it concluded with as little disruption to my home as possible.In summary, I love my new flooring. Compared to the previous laminate I had down, it is so luxurious and a few points to note:-• It’s warmer on bare feet• It’s so much quieter to walk on• It’s non-slip (don’t have to put those rubber bits under my rugs anymore!• Finally, and perhaps you may think this silly BUT my cats are happier walking on it because it has more of a wood feel to it.Thanks to Andy for ‘persuading’ me to go with the Karndean – I’m not in the least disappointed!!A huge thanks to the lads for their expertise and hard work (Sam, Jamie and the two other Andys!). It’s also important to say that you need to feel comfortable leaving someone with your house keys and as it’s a ‘family run’ business, I was happy to do this.Some photos attached.

They layed Amtico flooring in my mother's new flat. Fantastic finish and even came back to make an adjustment (following kitchen refit). Would highly recommend.

Went to look at flooring for the kitchen. Andy was very helpful and friendly. He seems to have a sample of everything, including Amtico and Karndean. Very nice, unrushed atmosphere.

Decided to proceed with Andy at Staines Flooring after having 3 or 4 other local firms out. Although certainly not the cheapest, I have always been a firm believer in “you get what you pay for”. Andy’s prices were still very competitive, but he was by far the most professional, knowledgeable and friendly so I was more than happy to pay a little extra for exceptional service. The only contractor that arrived wearing the appropriate PPE, was very respectful and came back with the quote promptly. Sam did the fitting with a couple of other lads, there were all very polite boys as well, got the job done in a great time frame, kept me well informed and I felt very comfortable with them in my home. Floors look amazing, I am absolutely chuffed to bits !! thank you Andy, Sam et al :)

Great customer experience. Managed to do a carpet installation with a short lead time.The installation team was also great - very friendly and helpful.

Very happy with are new hall floor, great advice and service. The quality of the floor compared to samples we had from a large retail company was so much better.

Difficult to get hold off. will not answer phone and mailbox is full. Job was suppossed to be completed a week ago. Doors are not back in placecarpet fitting incomplete. Don't reply back on e-mails. Promisses not to come and don't turn up. Nice guy but very unproffesional service.

Had Staines Flooring in to lay some hard wood flooring throughout. The actual lay of the floor was good but unfortunately they are let down with poor communication making them unprofessional. Unfortunately I would not recommend until they upgraded their professional operation.
