Absolute joke. 2 years ago i ised this place and it was pretty good. So last month i switched from my current practice to this place and have been tryibg to get hold of someome there for a month. Ive called twice a week for a month with no answer. When i eventally left the phone ringing for 2o mins someone eventually answered. The receptionist staff were dismissive and told me.i have to call up at 8am or they cant help.me or book anything for me. However i work a shift where 8am is my sleep time. So now im forced to change doctors again and wait even longer for my documents to get moved there an then try and book again.Absolute joke. Avoid .

Unable to make appointments to see doctor. Very long waiting times once appointment has been made.Reception staff unprofessional. Phone lines are always busy and unattended to make telephone appointments. Main surgery doctor on holiday leave most of the time unavailable for appointments leaving trainee locum doctors to attend service users. This surgery is run more of a business rather then providing professional quality and care for the service users. Its very sad for us as we have been with this surgery for a very long time when the surgery was occupied as Oakwood health centre.

It’s a shame I cannot give a rating of -10, even 1 star is too much of a rating for this practice. If you try to book appointments online they will never show any availability (literally never), if you call them first thing in the morning bang on at 8am the automated message says they are taking too many calls, you try to call them for an entire hour between 8am-9am and the automated message still claims they are taking too many calls. Come 9am when the calls start to go through you have a minimum wait of 10 people ahead of you, so your now waiting for another 20 minutes at least for somebody to pick up the phone, for them to only tell you we are fully booked. You literally cannot make an appointment with this practice, literally. The receptionists change regularly, not surprised because they might be sick and tired of patients having a right go at them for not giving out appointments (don’t blame the patients though as they can never get a an appointment!) All they can recommend is to go to A&E, like we don’t know where A&E is, if we wanted to go to A&E we would have made our way there prior to waiting 2 hours for you to pick up the phone and tell me there’s no appointments, again and again! The receptionists do not care at all, that’s the honest truth. Leslie and Dr Tariq on the other hand are really good helpful people and will help (if you are extremely lucky to get an appointment.) They need to scrap their online service as that never works. In conclusion, this practice needs to be shut down as they can’t run a bath let alone a practice.

Absolutely disgusting in the way this surgery runs. No appointment to pre book online, when you call in the morning for an appointment 230 times I called and was then placed on hold, caller number 9 for 35 mins. It's ridiculous how there is only one doctor that sits in practice and they didn't even do evening appointment. When you are expected to be at work for 9am and you are on hold for over and hour and half. This clear doesn't work. Why have an online service then since COVID it's useless. The receptionist are rude and do not care that patients are in need of appointment.Dr Tariq is a good doctor it's a shame there isn't more doctors in this practice.

The Dr is great. The appointment system is a shambles. Apparently no appointments on Wednesday as he is with students. No appointments on Thursday, no reason given but closed in evening. Told to TRY Friday but obviously appointment not guaranteed as at 8am lines are at capacity. HOW? This system seriously needs reviewing, it simply doesn't work! Does anyone from the surgery actually read these comments? Probably not as they are too 'BUSY' and really do not care!

The surgery service has sadly just gone downhill for some reason. Staff at the reception desk provide false information (automatic voice recording helps though). I was told the surgery opens for calls for booking appointments at 8.30am but when you do call it's never answered.Furthermore if you do have an illness then don't expect to be seen right away as that won't be happening. Appointments are given 2 weeks away which can deteriorate a patient's condition further. The level of service given from the reception desk on phone and in person is appalling and not sympathetic at all. I have also witnessed how reception staff at this surgery have spoken to people such as the elderly in a rude and arrogant manner.Doctors at this surgery are helpful and welcoming though but that's when you get a chance to see one

Went to see the nurse last week and I explained my worries and she was concerned about my high pressure so I was given an appointment on the Monday to see a GP. Unfortunately the GP was a lady doctor I had complained about prior to seeing her today. She knew who I was and her attitude wasnot pleasant. I did ask her if she was the GP I spoke to on the phone and she said yes and I questioned her abruptness. She told me nothing any different to what she said in her phone conversationand being the nurse sent me in about my high blood measure none was taken.I did get up to leave but I knew my hubbie would have been mad at me because I was hoping for a diagnosis. No blood tests no nothing. I have never once seen a doctor at this surgery and been treated with so disdain..The reviews on here speaks volumes..

This GP surgery is worse ever, they are so clever and playing with patient. This surgery should be remove from NHS and should be investigation, they always saying call 8am for make appointments and their phone cannot connect but if we try around100 time then sometime if connected then their computer saying you are in queue is number 10. I was in the queue in 10 at 8.10 am so my turn will come at 9.35 am that mean they only taking 9 calls before me from 8.10 am to 9.35 am. In my turn I requested for booking my appointment, a lady over the phone said this is 9.35 you need to call 8 am tomorrow. So for the next 5 days every 8am I try to connect for book my appointment its was same happened I explained. I am requesting to NHS or other department please investigate this survey how they are playing with clients. This is so bad.

Absolutely horrendous practice and borderline impossible to get an appointment. On multiple occasions I have attempted to ring the practice at 8am - the automated message states that the phone lines are full to capacity and I cannot even join the queue to wait on hold? Everyone is being told to phone at the same time every morning - surely there must be a better way to resolve this? It takes over an hour to even join the queue, then to be finally able to join you have to wait another hour or so only to be told all the appointments have gone? It is an absolute joke! I have also attempted to book an appointment on the Nhs app countless times and also tried the link given to me by one of the receptionist (Ttp online service) with no luck either! I have 2 small children and it is not ideal for me to wait in a walk in centre for hours on end. Today I was not able to reach the practice via telephone for my 3 year old daughter and consequently had to send my husband to physically attend the practice and urge for an appointment. I called the practice 108 times in total. Beyond ridiculous. I have also recently discovered that the doctor is not in on Wednesdays and on Thursdays the surgery closes early - how on earth are people meant to be seen? It is outright disgraceful. Simply not good enough and the worst gp practice I have ever encountered. Please save yourself the hassle and find a different surgery if you’re considering registering.

Receptionists and office managers, have not found a suitable system yet that patients can work with.Dr Tariq is a good knowledgeable, nice, polite, pleasant, informative, and very helpful DrDr Tariq is in HIGH demand, as he is more like a the old fashioned family Dr. I feel he knows me so well and always has my best interest in mind. Can't fault him.
