Professional company, did an amazing job of my mums garden and transformed it exactly how she imagined. Would definitely recommend and will use them in the future for any similar projects.

Good job ruined by poor customer service – CHECK YOUR QUOTES!We chose Rouse as they appeared reputable, were fairly competitively priced and could complete the landscaping works in the timescale we wanted.Andrew came out to measure based on a simple almost square lawn and were promptly provided a quote for the removal of the existing turf, sand blinded hardcore, weed liner, and a new Augusta (5m) artificial roll fitted.The Augusta roll was delayed due to stock/ supply issues, but we were notified and updated by Dorothy.The morning they came to start the works, it quickly became apparent that the artificial turf roll was not long enough for the lawn by almost a metre at the longest point and by approx 4.5m2 in total (over 10% of the total lawn area).I contacted Andrew to discuss the issue and was met with one of the poorest displays of customer service I’ve ever experienced. Despite Andrew coming out to measure the lawn himself (and us not providing any measurements) he was adamant that “the lawn had changed”, which was certainly not the case, or “you must have wanted a border or something”, again which was not the case. I suggested that potentially he had just made a mistake when measuring or interpreting his written measurements (we are all human and all make mistakes) but I was met with total denial and excuses. He then went on to blame myself for not identifying the shortfall on the quote (which I would accept if we had provided the incorrect measurements but we had not given him any indicative dimensions and trusted what he quoted was accurate from his measurements). Therefore, my advise for anyone considering using Rouse would be to thoroughly measure yourself and make sure this matches up with what is quoted for.Andrew explained that they would have to charge us more to cover the cost of the extra 4.5m2 artificial turf and labour. I was fair and agreed to pay this as we wanted the works completing, despite in my opinion, plus many others, that it was Rouse’s responsibility for the shortfall of the turf length.Despite this bad experience, Mark and his team (a credit to the company – should probably set up on his own!) efficiently completed the works within a couple of days and we are pleased with the finished job so now our little one can enjoy summer 2021 in the garden!Overall a mixed experience and due to the poor service from the owner I wouldn’t recommend/ use Rouse again in the future!

Good customer service, professional staff who keep to their word. Fair and reasonable price with excellent time management. My Nan is amazed with how her garden turned out. I would highly recommend and have recommended to multiple friends.

Andy and his team, did Two separate jobs for us. He totally transformed our garden, and then went on to lay us a stunning new driveway.We are so happy with both jobs. Please remember sometimes something might not go exactly to plan, but by being patient, you will get a fantastic finished product. We highly recommend you give Andy & his team the chance to show you what they are capable of.

From the start to the finish of our project Andy and his great team of men have been excellent . A special thanks to Lewis and Charlie who were so helpful nothing was too much trouble. Our garden is now looking like it should be in magazine. My hat is off to you all. Thanks Stephen and Doreen

My company contracted Rouse Landscapes to complete a lawn regrading and seeding. The work completed was of a very poor standard and when asked to correct the faults they declined. The work was carried out by another contractor to the standard required. Rouse Landscapes took my company to the County Court where they lost the case. I would be careful when using this company.

During the project the service was good. The design ideas were good and the lads very friendly. When the project was completed we were told that any issues ‘eg any re grouting etc would be rectified’. Various areas of grout have failed along with the decking requiring additional fixings to avoid ‘bouncing’. These were agreed to be carried out in a post completion visit in June 2022, but have yet to be actioned. After numerous messages requesting an update we are still to receive a response and the work remains outstanding.
