Bought my first car from Birkbrow Motors about a month ago. John was fantastic the whole way through. Helpful, honest, friendly, everything you want. Had no issues with the car since, commuting 2 hours up and down to Sunderland every day. Do not buy a used car without checking this place out first!

Absolutely brilliant company!!We had been calling a few times before visiting in person to check what cars were available and what was coming in Etc. Had my new car just over a week now and very happy with it. 2 weeks ago the family and I went for a drive out locally with me in half a mind of looking at new cars when we called in at BIRKBROW MOTOR CO. This was the first place we'd looked and immediately my attention was drawn to a Meriva in immaculate condition (as were all the cars on display). One of the guys (Karl) came out to see us and couldn't have been more helpful. There was no pressure to buy but anything I wanted to know about the car was no trouble at all to Karl. Having decided I liked the car it came down to the matter of money!The car was fairly priced to begin with but I was offered, again without pressure, finance options. Karl also offered me what I considered a very fair price for my old car in part exchange.Within an hour of walking into the first place I had visited the deal was done!In all, this was an excellent service from start to finish and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend BIRKBROW MOTOR CO.It won't be long before my wife and daughter both need cars and we will going to see Karl and his colleagues again!

The car I bought recently is the third bought by our family from Birk Brow Motors. As before, the service all the way along has been first rate! From my initial call to Steve, through to viewing and test driving (Steve very kindly drove me to the Liverton Mines showroom to test drive the car I was interested in!) through to picking the car up on the day from Karl, the team have been friendly, honest and above all not pushy at all! Having bought a car from Steve on the Longbeck estate I thought it worthy of a review.I'd been looking for a while to organise a small car for my granddaughter and this low mileage, good history, one owner example appeared on Autotrader. Needless to say we secured the deal next day. I have to say this sales experience would be difficult to match. To be fair, the car sold itself. A road test revealed a minor issue which Steve promised to have rectified. A small deposit was paid and the car underwent repairs, a service and MOT that week. We were kept informed of progress and Steve kindly delivered the car as promised having completed the paperwork, taxed it and provided a short warranty.Well done Steve and thanks for sorting everything out in such a friendly, no fuss, nothing's too much trouble manner.Further update; Also warranty items honoured within the month without a quibble.
