I recently completed an online four week garden design course with Charlotte. Charlotte is an excellent teacher - making the course engaging, fun and informative. I learnt so much from Charlotte and would highly recommend.

I booked a one to one mentoring session with Charlotte when I started considering landscaping gardening as a possible new career. Charlotte patiently took me through lots of aspects of the business and left me feeling inspired. Charlotte has a unique understanding of space and colour combined with deep horticultural knowledge. My garden was landscaped and planted to her design and I love itI admire and support her campaign against artificial grass and deplore the aggressive and libellous negative reviews being posted by the pathetic purveyors of plastic that can't take the truth

I approached Charlotte for advice on my garden and got way more useful support, ideas and resources than I was anticipating. Charlotte was great at getting to the core of what I wanted and providing several suggestions and then a wealth of other ideas, links and suppliers. It's still a work in progress (c'mon, no-one should dig in this weather!) but I now have a framework and something to work towards. In addition to the ideas Charlotte gave me a healthy dose of confidence to just get started and try things out so it's been a really positive process. I'm really looking forward to my garden in summer 2024 and local wildlife would be too if they knew what we'd planned!

Charlotte redesigned our garden a year ago and assisted us in choosing a team to develop it as per her design. Watching it come to life last summer was a joy. It was worth the investment as we have used the garden so much more than previously. It’s been wonderful to watch it change with the seasons and we are looking forward to enjoying it and developing it further in years to come. Charlotte completely understood that we were looking for a garden that was easy to maintain, had a beautiful array of colours and plants but that ultimately it would have its own restful ambience with a few seating areas to chase the sun.

I found Capability Charlotte through an online how to design a garden through Swindon College. Charlotte was generous with her knowledge and delivered a well thought out course with patience and good humour. She gave me the confidence to start designing my bare plot before I moved into a new property so I could start working on the garden as soon as I moved in. I have since consulted her a couple of times about specific points and will continue to do so. I highly recommend this course and Charlotte's consultation service. Thank you for your inspiration, encouragement and generous spirit, Charlotte.

What can I say. Charlotte’s introduction to garden design course was so informative and really engaging. As a teacher Charlotte brought a wealth of knowledge about garden design and delivered it in a laid back and easy to digest way.I really enjoyed the four sessions and would highly recommend anybody from novice like me to professionals. There is so much to learn!Learned so much and now feel I at least have a starting point for what to consider when designing my own blank canvas garden. I also appreciate that Charlotte offers paid for online mentoring for garden designers - so if I get stuck, I can reach out to her for further help.

Charlotte really listened to me and understood what I wanted for my garden. She is very knowledgable but conveyed her knowledge in a very accessible way. I am delighted with her ideas for our garden and feel they combine a natural approach and plenty of room for nature to flourish with practicality and great ideas of how we and our children can use and enjoy the garden.

Charlotte is an inspiration. I'm so impressed by her drive to continue campaigning against plastic grass to protect wildlife and our health, despite all the negativity and backlash from competitors and people who simply don't care. The designs I've seen have been lovely, original, thoughtful and well considered. She clearly cares about her clients and what they need. I will definitely be calling on Charlotte next time I need some garden design advice and will also recommend her to friends and family.

I contacted Charlotte because I needed some help with my own gardening business. I was stuck and wanted some inspiration. I wanted to transition from maintaining gardens to Garden Consultancy. I have been in horticulture for over 20 years and I love it but lacked the confidence to believe in myself and go for it. Charlotte and I arranged an hrs telephone mentoring session and wow! It made a real difference to how I see my skills. I'm not 'just a gardener' I am a flipping good one with years of knowledge and experience and now I know my worth! I have had several new clients and not one has questioned my up to date pricing.I message Charlotte occasionally just to update her on how things are going.I would highly recommend this service that Charlotte offers!
