Absolutely fabulous site!!Staff were so friendly and welcoming. They get five stars all around. The facilities were super clean and the showers were amazing - so spacious.Love that they give you a pitch number so you know exactly where you’re meant to camp. You can hire fire pits and BBQ. This site is wonderful.Cannot wait to come back and visit soon. Thanks for having us!

What a marvelous campsite! Everything was fantastic during our 5 days here, right down to the (completely unexpected) heat wave that we had! The staff is amazing, so friendly and helpful and always willing to chat. It is also the cleanest site we have ever stayed at. The showers, toilets, and even the washing up area were always kept clean. It was great to have the shop on site for those mornings when we wanted a coffee and didn't feel like making one! We also took advantage of the fire pit rental and it was very relaxing to sit out at night with a fire and enjoy the peace and quiet. An added bonus was the fact that you could walk to the East Wittering restaurants, shops, and beach in 20 minutes. We did a lot of walking in the area, taking advantage of the coastal path and it was a great experience.

Just back from second weekend in a row. Lovely campsite in a great location for easy access to beaches. Nowhere near a road so nice and quiet. Lovely modern clean facilities. Plus, best thing, super friendly helpful staff. Could not ask for more. We will be back.

Just came back from a wonderful stay at Stubcroft Farm Campsite.I can honestly say it's the best yet. From the moment of booking to arrival the service we received was amazing....so happy cheerful and helpful and this continued throughout our trip. The site is beautiful and so peaceful it's not commercial you can just escape. The shower and toilet facilities are spotless. We were able to get logs for a fire which was just perfect. And to make the weekend even better they let us stay on site longer to enjoy our time there. We will be back.... thankyou

We booked this site to enable us to explore the area on the back of an attractive website and generally good reviews. The only poor reviews seem to be from large groups that have visited in the summer months complaining about noise and the site rules. As we were visiting at the end of November we chose to ignore these negative comments. The price of the pitch ( XL hard standing, 10 amp electric) is expensive even during low season at £38 weekdays and £39 fri, sat. Add to this £3 per dog per night (we have 2) meant 8 nights came to £355. (more than we paid for a fortnight in summer in North Wales)On arrival we were met with a 1/2 mile long rough pot holed track to the site. A 10mph speed limit sign was rather optomistic as we couldn't get above walking pace for fear of damage to our caravan. We pulled into the site and booked in. The wardens were pleasant and helpfull. There were quite a lot of do's and don'ts about having only 10amp electric and NOT driving on the grass. I was asked if we had a motor mover on the caravan as it was a bit tight to reverse in and NOT drive on the grass.A bit tight was an understatement when shown our pitch. The only way to get on was to use the mover all the way from the entrance to the pitch as there were barriers, cones and signs to prevent driving on the grass and the tarmac to narrow for our outfit to turn.Well, the open grass field we were in was full of mouldy stored caravans when looking out of one window, mouldy caravan and grass roller out the front and the brick wall and fence from the other. Not the attractive picture as shown on line. A couple of small vans had been pitched on the tarmac entrances to the other grass fields, so at least we had a proper pitch. The XL pitch was a bit snug without being able to use the grass, had a 10amp electric connection and tap just behind although half way through our stay the water was turned off (due, we were told because of forecasted frost but it didn't drop below 6'c) which meant we had to go to the facilities block to get water. There are no lights around the site which is not a problem for us however the automatic light near the toilet point/grey water/water tap was not working so lucky I had a head torch. As for the £3 per dog per night charge this is just money grabing as there is nothing on site for dogs, no poo bins or dog walk.In conclusion, we felt that the site was all but closed down for winter (but happy to take £44/night), looked like a caravan storage yard and offered very little value for money.Would we recommend or come here again? NO!Edit to reply.Your prices are expensive regardless of location. I compared it with equivalent pitches on similar sites. I accepted the price before we saw the site. Images on your website are taken to appear a more open site.I never enquired about a discount.Your access lane is in one of the photo's and is rough and potholed. I did not follow my sat nav.We holiday through the year and the weather was not a problem and was not mentioned in my review.I understand the grass was wet, my complaint was the amount of signs, cones and comments from staff about keeping off the grass. I only need to be told once.As a farmer I have no problem reversing. On your site it was impossible to get our unit on the narrow pitches without hitting the wall or going on the grass. Your staff's assistance was to ask if I had a motormover. Are they not green moldy caravans in my pictures? Is the amentity block not made of brick? The next field was full of stored caravans as well. These vans could be placed on the unused grass fields during winter. The water was turned off and our hose disconnected while we were out. No warning or explanation was given until I telephoned when we returned.£3 per night per dog. For this price other sites would include a dog walk or enclosed exercise area on site.Previous negative reviews were ignorned as they were not relavent to our stay or comments.I offered constructive criticism which was not misleading or out of your control and did not ignore information given.

This was my second stay at Stubcroft with my daughter and the first time taking my husband whose last camping trip was when he was 12 and he hated it so it was tough getting him to agree to come. But we had the best time, the staff as always were fabulous namely Terry and his wife Sarah and of cause the others always friendly (genuinely so) as a black family you are always conscious of not putting your family in an environment where they are made to feel uncomfortable and at Stubcroft farm we were just another family, made to feel welcome and there was nothing that they wouldn’t do to ensure we had everything we needed. Even the lovely staff member who sorted out the ants nest near our pitch, we had only just mentioned it and they were there sorting it out before we got back to the pitch.I learnt a few lessons from last time like bringing kitchen wipes and a dish towel, soap liquid and a sponge to wash up. Bringing warm cloths for a chilly night, and extra batteries for torches. Bottle opener etc as we got a few things wrong the first time. This time we did the whole bbq and stove for cooking every morning and evening so we felt like we were fully into it. The pitch was great, other families were friendly and happy to chat. And the facilities were always clean and so useful, they have thought of everything!! Even down to a herb garden if you don’t bring all of your seasonings. Roasting marshmallows and making s’mores was my daughters fav bit, Love it! Oh and maybe bring mosquito spray if the weather is hot and wet as we could have done with this in the tent.

Really well run. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Lovely site and good attention to detail on things like recycling and pallets under the water tap. Lots of local information and a great location for the beaches. The showers and main toilets were so clean and the compost toilet was really clean too! All in all a great weekend! Would definitely stay again.

Great campsite! I booked Stubcroft Farm for myself and a group of friends, and would definitely look to go back. From beginning to end, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We were able to hire a BBQ and a campfire which was ideally as we couldn't fit anything else in the cars! Toilets and showers were so clean, and barely a queue to use the showers. Amazing location, within walking distance of the beach with a lovely view of Portsmouth and The Isle of Wight. West Wittering also has a lovely beach about a 10 minute drive away from the campsite. A campsite I would highly recommend to others!!
