The Rockhouse Retreat
The most incredible couples get away. Perfect place to relax and spend the day enjoy the scenery. Lots of board games and outdoor games provided as well as lots of logs for the campfire. The bathroom is masterpiece and felt luxurious. It’s such a special place and I hope to return again in the future.

This is simply the most incredible getaway that money can buy!!! So unique, quirky, yet lavish and luxurious throughout. I honesty could have just lived there for ever. So quiet, hidden away, and feeling like a proper caveman. The terrace is fabulous, you can have open fires and cook over the flames. As the evenings cool, head inside with log fires both sides of the cave, and an array of cushions, blankets, furs to snuggle into. The huge rain shower is sensational. Kitchen so well equipped. Lighting and candles are perfect to, for the ambiance. I love this place so much!!! Thank you for sharing it ☺️ Darren Neal

Stayed for two nights in August 21 as a surprise for my girlfriends birthday. We are both fans of Grand Designs and had followed the build. The Rockhouse is a stunning place to escape with a well equipped kitchen, outdoor cooking area, cosy lounge and comfortable bedroom. The bathroom is stunning with underfloor heating and there are candles throughout. There are plenty of games/field games in addition to recommendations for local pubs and walks.I would thoroughly recommend the Rockhouse for anyone and everyone!

We stayed at The Rockhouse Retreat for 2 nights with our dogs and it is the most relaxing and beautiful place we have ever been too! It is the perfect place to go and relax and switch off from the world! 2 nights just isn’t long enough!

This place is incredible. If you need to unwind it's the place to go. Campfire and outside cooking area. Amazing location. Go back to basics with luxury accommodation. Rain forest shower with heated floor, fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed all in a cave! Had a fantastic conversation with the local Owls at night. There are some amazing walks in all directions but I would recommend the walk to Trimperly reservoir then along the bank of the river Severn into the picturesque town of Bewdley, sample the many pubs, then get a cab back to the retreat (cost about £8). A real must.

Such an amazing few nights for our Minimoon. We had a lovely time sitting outside with the fire on listening to the birds in the surrounding trees. Would definitely recommend a stay, so peaceful and quiet.

Absolutely gorgeous place, even better than I expected, we couldn't get out heads around the fact we were in a cave! We went for my partners birthday and she couldn't believe it when we arrived and she loved it so much. Thanks to their chillier nature we got to make lots of happy memories using the log burners (took us a few attemps but we managed). I never imagined being so excited to run outside to watch the smoke coming out the chimney!Amazing dinners over the fire pit, Marshmallows in the evenings etc, everything taste better when made on a fire!Greeting the cows in the morning, following squirrels with our torch at night, I even saw a deer on top of the cave whilst making dinner at the gas bbq!Whilst there is no wifi I had a solid 5G on EE outdoors, although there was minimal coverage on O2, but who cares WE WERE IN A CAVE, there was so much to do I didn't need my phone. We felt the shower is quite low pressure due to the shower head, feels absolute bliss but would take forever to wash your hair in so ladies being the dry shampoo. But again you're in a shower IN A CAVE.Lots of things to do just a short drive away.We spent the first night just taking in our surroundings and the next at Avoncroft Museum (highly recommended) with a stop at a farm shop on the way to get more bbq treats. The last day we took a trip up to Birmingham for the sealife centre on the way home. I strongly recommend not planning too many activities because there is so much to do at the cave you don't want to miss out!The track leading up to the retreat was both terrifying and so much fun, I can certainly see why certain cars aren't suitable but luckily ours managed no problem. It seems to be a theme to leave a personalised rock on the premise so we rushed to the supermarket for some pens to make sure ours was the best.We can't stop telling all our friends about this experience, it was truely worth every penny and more. You've set a new standard for our trips away now, cave holidays are the way forward!Truely magical, will be coming back in the future for sure. Thank you Angelo for an amazing time!

Greater than my wildest imaginations the atmosphere and environment is nestled in the side of a prehistoric rock in the middle of a nature reserved. It's so quiet and blissful out here that we really didn't want to leave. Definitely, reccomend for a romantic getaway. Plenty to do and see.

If you want total relaxation then this is the place to be. Beautiful surroundings for peace and tranquility. The bathroom was beautiful and the shower was just “wow!”We managed to still sit outside the great patio area during the rain as we were protected from the trees. The rain didn’t ruin the whole experience. The track to the property was a little scary, limited places to pull in if another car approached, however we didn’t feel the need to leave the Rockhouse so only an issue when arriving/leaving.We will definitely be back for another visit and have already recommended it to friends.
