We had a wonderful time walking through the park. The scenery is stunning and being able to be in this expanse of nature and wildlife was amazing. Definitely wear comfortable walking shoes as you will probably end up walking a lot further just like we did.

Hampton Court Park and the gardens at the Palace are separate places. Hampton Court Park is sometimes called Home Park. This is a big park with special scientific importance. It has lots of grass and trees and many red deer. This is a nice place to take a stroll or have a picnic, and you don't have to pay anything to get in.What a shame that gardens next to the palace aren't ticketed and you have to pay for the palace and gardens together.

Home Park is a bit tucked away and visited by fewer people but it is lovely. Not as dominated by cars. Great for walking and cycling.

Pretty place! Quite easy access from London waterloo by train. We did not see any deer but there were a lot of ducks, geese and swans. This is a very pleasant park, much quieter than Richmond. There are a lot of benches to admire the scenery and also quiet areas to sit down for a picnic. It is possible to cycle around and We saw couple of fishermans on our way. It is also a great place to walk dogs or for family gatherings.

Lovely. We went for a walk today and we saw some herds of deer and walked down the long water. There’s a beautiful view of Hampton Court palace and picturesque scenery.

Probably the best park in Greater London. Just off the hustle and bustle of Kingston Bridge if you’re coming from that side, this huge park is very quiet and calming. Be sure to walk right into the park and it feels like you’re almost on your own in miles of wilderness. There’s plenty of wildlife including deer, birds of prey and water fowl. There’s a few bodies of water and the Long Water is spectacular, which offers undisrupted views of Hampton Court Place. Hampton Court Golf Club is also well nestled within the park and it has a clubhouse offering food and a full bar (even for non members). There are also entries and exits near Ravens Ait, opposite The Albany pub in Thames Ditton and nearby Hampton Court Gardens. A fantastic park, which I highly recommend. Not sure why the opening hours say it’s closed some days. It’s always open dawn until dusk on all days of the week.
