Aquanorth Diving Centre

Lovely group of people that made me (a beginner) feel really comfortable in an unfamiliar environment. They gave great unbiased advice on equipment and where to dive.I hope to go on many more trips with Aquanorth and continue diving with the team even after I’ve moved away! Highly recommend!!

A big thanks to Keith, John and Janet for helping myself and my partner get scuba certified in time for our trip away. They were able to teach the course in a confidence inspiring way, which allowed us to really feel comfortable on our dives abroad. Looking forward to getting our final sessions in to get PADI Open Water Certified

I've had an outstanding experience with the Aqua-north team, very friendly bunch of people. Really enjoyed my time there and i will be continuing to use them as my preferred dive centre. 100% recommend them to anyone who is a scuba enthusiast.

My son is now on his 3rd SCUBA course (he's 14) and these guys have really looked after him very, very well. They offer a great blend of pool, classroom ( in his 1st course) online and openwater ( lake/sea) education and training. The instructors have varying levels of learners in varying stages of learning levels to accommodate and teach but their experience pulls it off with aplomb. The teaching is fluid and flexible so if you are expecting a rigid and regimental learning structure then you need to relax a little and roll with it because it's worth it. The courses are incredibly good value and you feel you are getting great bang for your buck. The instructors have immense knowledge and happy to teach young kids and old codgers. These guys are great and Alan and Janet put their hearts into teaching SCUBA. I have trusted them implicitly with my son since he was 12 and they have been superb.

My daughter had a dive experience as part of her Christmas present at Aquanorth today. The whole process of booking in and getting the equipment was a very friendly, informative and well run process. The diving itself was equally well organized, fun and safe event. My daughter enjoyed the experience, and I enjoyed meeting and chatting to the staff. Great experience, lovely team, thanks for making the day so enjoyable.

I have just completed my PADI open water certification with the Aquanorth team and what an amazing experience it was. The instructors make you feel very welcome and are all extremely helpful and friendly. You can tell that they all really know their stuff and are very passionate about diving. All the equipment used is tiptop and I felt confident at all times during my dives having instructors so experienced teaching me. Whether you are wanting to do a PADI course or just looking for some friendly people to go diving with I would highly recommend Aquanorth. I will be using Aquanorth for all my future diving qualifications - next stop - the Advanced Open Water course! :)

We had a great experience doing our Rescue and EFR course with Aquanorth. Janet, Alan and the Aquanorth team are all really friendly and knowledgeable and they made the courses very enjoyable. I would recommend Aquanorth to anyone who wants to dive in the North East.
