I was shopping in store and needed the toilet, the lady behind the counter said there weren't any so I feel very sorry for the staff that work here they must need a very big bladder, needless to say I put all my shopping back and left

Matalan has some great buys and good quality stuff and I've bought many items in the past but the changing rooms at Bolton are absolutely filthy, you come out grey with all the dust and muck that's all around. Not good enough.

It's been sometime since I last visited but after being told by my father that the stock was much better quality, then I thought it was worth a visit. Well what a surprise and after popping in for some underwear, we came out with underwear, trousers, shirts, a bath robe and a pullover, all for £104. Very happy.

Completely stopped selling Curve range here, the had it on a mini stand last time I came, but today absolutely nothing. Will have to shop at Bury instead.

A wide range of clothing for the whole family at reasonable prices and set out in an easy way to navigate around the store. Homeware section too! Staff friendly and approachable if you need any assistance and someone always on hand at the tills to help. Self-service seems to be more prevalent but there is one manned till for people who prefer human interaction.
