PureGym Glasgow Clydebank

Pure gym clydebank is really good ,I've been going for 2 years and really enjoy the friendly atmosphere, all the equipment is of good quality and sufficient for keeping fit and more advanced weight lifting.My wife goes to the exercise classes and she finds the that there is a class that matches her different levels of fitness throughout the year.all the personal trainers are great and available to help when required.

Overall it's a decent gym for what you pay, I do feel equipment needs upgrading, particularly treadmills as it's the exact same models used since the gym opened.1 thing I would really like to see is a better variety of classes, definitely been a decrease in the amount of classes since Covid, particularly in circuit classes at decent times on week nights, used to be well used by people but notice classes are struggling now, please PG get more circuit and fat burn classes on between 5pm and 8pm Monday - Fridays, they will be popular as were before.. Still good value for money overall.

The water machine doesn't work for more than 1 week??On the top floor, the end of the hall ' The lights will turn off after 12:00 !!!Devices are old and Some devices don't work properly... ??I dont know , Why doesn't anyone deal with these problems and resolve that's??

Loved Circuits class with Emma at Clydebank tonight. I love the mix of people at classes and the welcoming vibe. I go on my own but never feel out of place.

As a member visiting Glasgow this was my nearest PG, I have to say I am disappointed with the place. No real area to do functional training, lack of racks, too much unused cardio equipment and bad layout. Part of the reason to use PG is that it should be consistent and compared to my homePG this is very poor. I think PG need to move with the times and realise that people want racks plenty of space for functional work as people move away from cardio for weight loss or maintenance.

As a new member Im pretty disappointed with the set up. Way too much cardio equipment and not nearly enough weight training equipment. Very little thought has gone into where the equipment for weight training is - I'd suggest having it all in one area and the same for cardio and functional training. Only one? quad extension machine and squat rack, the leg press is downstairs whilst the quad and hamstring machines are upstairs! Showers - clean but pressure is not great and you cant make them cold. The layout needs to be revisited and carefully thought out. Due to the lack of equipment I'd be hard pressed to follow my own scheduled workout plans and as a PT I'd be reluctant to take a client to this gym - again due to equipment shortage/availability.

Can you get the cleaners to give the warm up matts a wipe down?Sick of getting other users dead skin & sweat all over my knees when warming up, it’s thick/caked in, like it’s never been wiped. I always wipe it after me

Have already told you the issues with the gym on pervious surveys amd nothing been done. The school kids over run the place I'm there to work out not babysit. Certain PT has no sense of personal space and trains his clients in the functional area and ends up invading your workout areas machines falling apart. That's why ill be joining another gym

I like pure gym but what I really wish the had the bootybuilder the have one but I don't like that one cause it gives me back pain . It would mean the world if u reply
