When we moved to the UK three years ago, I was really worried about sending my son to school. He spoke zero English and this was very scary for him. St Michaels assigned a Polish speaking teacher to him and in a very short time he was able to understand and take part.Once he had the basics, he started to make friends and slowly build his confidence. The teachers were also very supportive of me too, they kept me up to date with everything school related and let me know where he needed to improve.He has gone from a very shy and scared boy, to a confident boy who has achieved the expected grade in his SATs and is ready for secondary school. I cannot rate the teaching staff highly enough. They were friendly, welcoming and extremely supportive. They went above and beyond to help my son and I will always be grateful of the work that the teachers have done with my son.He couldn't have had a better startThankful mother
