I did level 2 electrical institution. I dont live local to the collage (traveled in from Lincolnshire), nowhere for students to park on campus even though I have a bad leg so I find walking difficult. I was asked to do level 3 (for alot of money). I went to register one evening and I was turned away because student cant park on campus even in the evening when the carpark is empty.... The courses are great the campus is horrid. Dont attend.

I did a course for adult. Had a teacher that wouldn't mark work till months later and I struggled alot; I told my teacher this and she kept suggesting me to come in knowing I couldn't due to some reasons and she barley replied to my comments on canvas and on teams. I have ADHD and I struggled so much and barely for any help. Even when I came in she was too busy doing other things. Do not come here if your an adult honestly they don't care. I did all my work and I got kicked off for incomplete work even though I did it and was waiting for it to be marked.

I did my Level 3 apprenticeship (Level 3 diploma in creative and digital media) from April 2016 to October 2017 with HCUK and I've overall had a good experience.Regular reviews with my tutor and manager, sufficient help with the coursework to pass the unit, fun and interesting modules.Sadly was not allowed to progress on to level 4 due to funding cuts, but my tutor promised to contact me the moment a suitable level 4 course becomes available.Would recommend Hull College for anyone interested in an apprenticeship in the creative sector.

The best place it's been years since I was a student at Queens Gardens site, this place built up my confidence I passed all of my courses and the staff was brilliant. I'm proud to say I went onto Hull University and was successful in passing my degree and its thanks to the tutors that built up my confidence for me to move forward.

This college is a complete joke, was on a 2 year interactive media course with a teacher who was clueless about how to do animation and do game design and was pretty unprofessional. He wouldn't check our work until the very end of project which you would have to hurry and fix everything before due dates. He said been independent is something you would need to be for university but sraight Up giving no support or not teaching us anything isn't how university works. I felt so alone in my studies for 2 years. I never learn anything I sign up for as the college didn't hire anyone who could teach us. After complaining there said they would hire someone in so we would get extra lessons and finally learn animation and game design but after month of asking and email that never happend. I'm so mad about the experience. It was a waste of 2 years. Thats not just my course. My experience with extra support with my dyslexia was so frustrating every exam I had there was a complication which made things 10 times more stressful than it needed to be (Not getting a reader, no one turning up to my exams, not having the right coloured papper, and stapling my maths gcse exam in the wrong orde)r. Also I received 0 support in lessons for it. If you're looking for a college to slack off and don't mind not having any support at all I would suggest Hull College.

i have seen a video of a member of staff professor nawaz shah assaulting some youngsters, who has now been reported to the police, it is an irony that this has happened on the day there was a governance and human rights seminarIs this what is acceptable? An attendee that is also responsible for his verdict of gross abuse as a judge, in an issue of Human Rights in Pakistan, Does the university not vet the attendees?.It is truly a dark day to the reputation of Hull University, the seminar on International Human Rights, the staff, the attendee's.

I studied for 3 years at Hull College, while I liked the teachers my time there was tainted by how badly organised the college is. It is the worst organisation I have ever dealt with in my life.I started a new course (my fourth year in total at the college) there and after 6 weeks decided the course was not for me and decided I was not happy with the fact that the teaching staff on the course had been halved (compared to the year before). At first they tried to charge me over £7000 but after multiple times of talking to them we agreed on £1875. It cost me £1875 for those 6 weeks. Student finance and the student load company agreed to fund this. The administration and finance department double billed me and tried to get £3750 from me, it was stressful and a nightmare resolving the issue. it took over 1 year to solve this issue.
