Bannatyne Health Club and Spa

I love coming to this gym but it's getting so old and tired. A few issues in the past few weeks include: all of the lights went out and they had to use spotlights on the ground, the steam room gets patched up every couple of weeks, the water fountain sprays you with water (why not fix it instead of putting a sign there?) theres always at least 1 machine out of order, some of the doors not functioning and have signs on, my coat got ruined from loads of grease inside a locker, the plants around the pool are so sad looking it's almost funny. I also went to the gym three nights in one week this month to find no hand soap in any of the dispensers, they had been emptied and not refilled. On the third night I finally asked the cleaner to fill them up, she seemed confused about why they were empty. The cleaning standards around the pool have also slipped so much and the showers are unbelievably gross now. The whole place just needs ripped out and started again, all of the equipment is old and scabby, your hands absolutely stink after a workout, its just not great. Not worth 50 quid a month anymore sorry.

Great pool, great equipment and especially good classes. Always the same issue with 3-4 machines being out of order or malfunction. Still a great gym!

Wanted to get a spa day voucher for my wife. Receptionist was rude and disinterested in helping me, didn't look like she wanted to be there so she lost the company out on a sale.

It's a busy Gym , facilities are nice and clean , could be doing with a slight upgrade on equipment . Staff are polite and helpful.

Great gym with loads of cross trainers, spin bikes and treadmills. Also huge variety of gym equipment. No wondows which made it feel a bit depressing and limited space for free weights and stretching

Great spa day here! The main entrance receptionist was very nice to walk us through how it would work and where all facilities were.Experience was incredible, the spa attendees are fabulous, funny and kind. Very informative and take time to ask what you feel you need most.Took my mum for her spa day, facilities are super clean and easy to use :) we loved the steam room and jacuzzi.Lea was super great with me, she made me feel super relaxed and took into consideration my skin type for the facial and stress areas for massage ! Perfect pressure and skin has reacted lovely! Thank yous so much!Maxine

I didn't quite hate it, but more than disliked it... there's no in-between option for that so 1 star it is and that's for the young girl who did my treatment. The treatment I received was enjoyable so I can't fault that. Unfortunately the package I should have had was a spa day and was offered none of this. There seemed to be some work/ maintenance/ construction happening so some drilling and banging going on during my treatment. I wasn't there for a peaceful experience, I wanted help with sore muscles and that is what I got but unfortunately the rest of the experience was a big let down. For a brand that's high end, I was expecting high end. It certainly wasn't that. I was expecting a spa experience day. Really disappointing first and last visit here. This was a gift that I had waited to use since before lockdown.

Great gym it’s my local go to place. The cafe is awesome and the home made scones with cup of tea are great to treat yourself after a hard workout.The gym has all latest gear just make sure you don’t get out of with some of the weirdos that like to make noise when they are training, you would think they were being beat the way some of the noises they make lol

I booked a spontaneous spa day with my best friend to celebrate her engagement and we are soooo happy we booked Banntayne Falkirk! From the minute we entered the club till the minute we left we were looked after so so well. Receptionist was lovely and very helpful, someone then showed us around the club and helped us decided what to do first etc - lovely lady! The gym was great. We then went to the spa for our treatments and the spa manager Gemma was so welcoming and friendly and wow our treatments were just FAB! I didn’t want my Elemis facial to end, it was so relaxing and the whole experience was incredibly professional and relaxing. We then had a cream tea made by a lovely guy - didn’t catch his name but again he was very friendly and upbeat! All in all we had the best day ever and will 100% be back very soon.
