A big thanks to Ian and the team,our double storey extension was delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard. The guys paid high attention to detail (new brick ties in great with existing brick, the new roof retains its traditional style). Once we had secured planning permission for our rear kitchen extension and addition of porch and loo on the front we set about contacting potential building firms to complete the project. It took a while to actually find someone who would either answer the phone or ring back once a message had been left. When we had gathered a list of possibles" we arranged for them to come and speak to us to discuss what we had in mind.We felt immediately at home with Ian who was already suggesting possible improvements to tweak the plans (which we took on board and are so glad we did

One of the best firms we've ever had the pleasure of getting work done by. We used Hende for major home renovations after recommendations from friends and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They looked after the full process from cradle to grave and took us through the whole journey with care and expert advice.

Have had two builds with Hende - Ian has always been so helpful & approachable throughout construction. Work always to a high standard - would not hesitate to recommend. Aftercare is fantastic - recently been in touch four years after the build with a problem with a bifold door- Ian was fantastic at organising someone to come & repair - great service.

Earlier this year a double side extension of our home was completed by Hende Building, and we couldn't be happier with the end result.Ian and the team ensured the design was perfect (after some bad experiences with independent architects!) and the build team were all great!We had a small child and newnborn living at home, and Hende ensured disruption was kept to the minimum, whilst completing the work as quickly as possible.Our little boy made best friends with some of the builders, and they were a pleasure to be around. Our home is now big enough for our family, and the perfect space for us :-)

Undertaking a build on your home is daunting. The disruption and fear that costs would spiral were a concern for us. After spending a year deciding what we wanted to do, we decided to go ahead. Ian (owner and designer) was very impressive from the get go. Our first meeting he walked into the house and immediately pointed out our issues and came up with a design which was different to what we had imagined but a huge improvement. He was very patient going through our designs and making any changes we discussed with him. He set out a detailed payment plan for each section of the build so we knew what was coming and when.The build itself we found very stress free. Our site manager Paul was fantastic and always available if we had any queries. The team of contractors from labourers to electricians were a great bunch. Always courteous and respectful of the fact that I worked from home. There was some very dodgy singing and the conversations in the background kept me entertained!The only hiccups along the way were all weather related so beyond anyone's control.Approximately 5 months after the build started we have the home that has exceeded our expectations. We have a home that has been built by quality builders to the highest of standards and within the budget as originally quoted.We can hand on heart say the house has changed our lives and we love it.We would without hesitation use Hende again and recommend to anyone who is looking for a builder.

Thank goodness for Hende Building Services!! I had had a really bad experience from a previous contractor who was taking forever to fit my kitchen and before it was even finished some wall cupboards literally fell off the wall. I was waiting for surgery and very stressed at the thought of things not being sorted in time so decided to find someone else to rectify and finish the job. Fortunately as soon as Hende Building Services got involved they sorted the whole mess out in less than two days. They reinstalled my kitchen properly and securely and I love it. Ian and his team were a breath of fresh air - professional, considerate and very competent and all at a fantastically reasonable cost. I can't thank them enough and will be using them again for any building projects I may have in the future.

Terrible service booked an appointment to come out for a quote which was confirmed by phone and email I specially booked the day of work on the morning of the day received a call to say can’t come due to the poor weather I explained how I had specially booked a day of work and I didn’t even get an apology I asked to reschedule and said will you be able to complete the work on time if you can’t even show up for an appointment and the lady called naiamo said well it’s best you leave it then and get someone else to do it. Terrible service!!!

We were looking for a contractor to complete a rear kitchen-diner extension, knocking down our conservatory and building across. After receiving several quotes we were immediately impressed with Ian’s approach and decided to go ahead.We had some challenges along the way, including Ian having to completely change the design of the roof from our original architectural plans (not done by Hende) due to some questionable measurements. This change actually improved the look of the design and we are delighted with the end result. Ian’s team were trustworthy and considerate throughout, leaving minimal mess, this was also mentioned by our neighbours.The agreed payment scheme was easy to follow and well managed throughout which helped when trying to budget for the project.I would have no hesitation recommending Hende Builders, they are professional and work collaboratively with you to ensure your ideas are realised. We are delighted with our new living space and have received plenty of compliments since completion.
