Just been to drop off this little man, the staff were so friendly and clearly clued up with what they’re doing. I have no doubt he will receive the best care!

What an amazing day out. When everyone else failed Mr crow the team at Mansfield animal rescue gave him a home. Absolutely worth a visit if you have a young family with facilities such as toilet and light refreshments. A sanctuary for animals in need and a unique dynamic that works between the mostly free roaming animals.

Great little place to pop in for a drink and a snack and help support the team there doing their up most to look after a variety of animals. Mostly, all have been brought in or found and now cared for and nurture back into a state that would allow them to be placed back into their normal habitat in the future. Like all these places doing the best they can with fund raising, volunteers and donations.

The staff were all lovely! Cheryl is so passionate about running the rescue centre and is very knowledgeable when it comes to taking care of the many varieties of rescued animals she looks after. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our tour of the place and were in awe of how well cared for the animals were. The animals were all clearly very happy with some of them being quite affectionate towards the staff. The cafe and facilities staff so friendly and their Toffee-Caramel coffees are to die for! All staff were so polite, knowledgeable and accommodating.First found them when looking for a rescue centre to deliver an owlet that was wandering alone in the local woods. Went to check on the owlet a few days later to see the little guy/girl happy and healthy and well cared for. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this place as it has so much promise and my girlfriend and I will definitely come back to visit again soon!

If you haven't been here yet and love to be out in an environment with nature, then this place is a must! You would have interaction with wildlife that you can't usually experience. It's a calm, relaxing place with a cafe. Sitting outside with a drink, you will have birds approach you and can see the staff and volunteers working within the rescue. There's a constant need for these people as injured animals were brought in for help. The staff and volunteers are lovely. You are given a warm welcome whether you are just popping in for a drink, making donations, or in need of help for any animal or bird. It is easily accessible for all ages and abilities. The car park is very close to the entrance, making it possible for people who struggle with mobility. The entrance is wheelchair and buggy friendly as is all the area and cafe.Thank you to everyone there for today.

What an absolute gem of a location!! Enclosed area where the animals are free to be met by visitors. Kids I observed loved interacting with them. The owners are knowledgeable and Cheryl is more than helpful. Do visit as they need all the funds they can get. And grab a drink too there!! Look forward to seeing my Houdini the hedgehog getting better !!
