My experience with this aspect service was rather disappointing. I initially suggested using a jet wash to clear the blockage, which seemed like a straightforward solution. However, the technician insisted on conducting a CCTV report, which ended up taking hours of unnecessary time. After all that time wasted, it took a mere 30 seconds of using a pressure jet wash to finally resolve the issue. This prolonged process resulted in significant costs, with the technician charging £125 per hour for himself and also insisting on bringing in another worker for 2.5 hours at the same rate. What made matters worse was that the additional worker didn't actively contribute to the work; he simply stood by and watched. This meant I was billed a total of £250 per hour for essentially a power jet wash job. It was an expensive and needlessly stressful experience, considering the simplicity of the drainage blockage. I expected a more efficient and cost-effective solution.I would strongly advise against using their services; it felt like a complete waste of money. It seems their approach is to prolong simple tasks just to increase the hours billed.

Just genuinely the worst customer service ever encountered. Act like they’re willing to help but do absolutely nothing. A bunch of liars and thieves with no regard for the lives of people. Save yourself you can definitely find better.

A licensed scammer. Absolutely despicable.Booking arranged on 23/05/2022 - offered a 15% discount when booking on the phone and also it was explained to me pressure testing would involve pressurised pipe testing not simple pressure drop measurements over 30mins using a simple pressure gaugeBooked for 24/05/2022Job number J-062160Trade: Leak DetectionHaving read other reviews about Aspect tradespeople unnecessarily dragging out their jobs to book as many hours as possible, I became sceptical and called Aspect before the appointment date, to cap the duration of work to no more than 2.5 hours (alas this actually turned out to be less wise than I thought). The tradesman arrived just after 8:30AM (8:34AM) on the day for leak tests. He brought in his toolbox. Asked me for the location of the stopcock. He explained to me two different tests for leak detection; simple, holding pressure measurement using a pressure gauge; and/or inert gas test. I was informed then that a gas test is a full, 8-hour job with two technicians. I opted for the simple pressure gauge measurement as I wasn’t prepared for 16 person-hour payment of £1760 (plus VAT) at their £110 per hour rate.He carried out visual inspections of wash basin pipes and washing machine pipes and commented that it wasn’t a very good job. He then explained that he needed two gauges to make the job quicker but he had only one gauge he said. He explained that he wouldn’t charge for the time he would take to run to a local Screwfix to grab one. He left the house at 9:15AM. After 1 hour, I called Aspect to ask about his whereabouts, the tradesman arrived back at my place at 10:45AM and reassured he wouldn’t charge me for the missing 1 hour and half and he explained that gauges were unavailable at 3 different stores and he only managed to get one at the 4th store he visited. He connected one of the gauges to washing machine feed-in pipe and the other to the dishwasher feed-in pipe. We waited for 30 minutes to monitor the pressure movement. No movement detected at the washing machine feed. 11:15AMThen he suggested a pressure gauge measurement for the radiator system. I agreed. He took the boiler central heating pressure to 3 bars and shut off the boiler water feed and 30 minutes later, no pressure change was noticed. 11:45AM (during the waiting time he had to move his van somewhere)He then asked me to go upstairs to run the washing machine cycle for 20 minutes to make sure everything is ok with the washing machine. I complied but ran a quick rinse for 5 minutes. I told him it was all fine, to which he said, ‘that was quick’. 11:50AM. He started packing up and told me he would write his report for the job and issue his invoice to me on the spot whilst in the house, which lasted, as if by magic, until 12:30PM.After he left, I checked the invoice and it didn’t have the initially agreed 15% discount, which I managed to have refunded on 1st June after chasing three times, 7 days after the initial chase.I checked the report he had produced. It only contained pictures of start and end pressures of one gauge connected at the washing machine feed. No dishwasher feed pressure. No mention of radiator pipe pressure.I feel that the job at a stretch could have been done within an hour. I speculate that perhaps they’re used to charging for a lot of hours because of some insurance contracts. In any case, I would not recommend this company to anyone I know. Please exercise caution if you’re paying for their service out of your own pocket. This makes the total time he was on site, technically almost exactly two hours.8:30 - 9:15AM - 45mins10:45 - 12:30PM - 1hr 45minsThe invoice value for the two pressure gauge measurements was £330.

Appalling experiene being let down by emergency plumbers for a water leak. Booked a 12 - 5 window. Found out at 8pm after multiple calls that the engineer wasn’t coming. Avoid.

Didn't turn up when meant to and no one phoned me. A completely arrogant organisation that doesn't care about customers. Booked an electrician to turn up on Saturday between 10 and 1pm. Phoned after 1pm to see where the electrician was and told I wouldn't get a visit until after 6pm. Rebooked for Sunday 9 - 1pm phoned at 2pm and told the visit is now due for after 3pm. I've cancelled everything to do with them. A complete waste of time.

Absolutely disgraceful! We brought them in to fix a leakage of the pipes in the kitchen (they had quoted 80 pounds for the visit!), which they did, however the plumber, was dragging his feet. He then said that it would be better to have a (climaflex) pipe insulation, which he did not have with him. He then drove to Barnet's high street, spending at least 30 minutes, which seems they were chargeable but he did not say so in advance. When he came back I asked him whether he could remove the old silicon (had turned black) in the bathroom area / shower (2) and apply a new one. He literally spent 2.5 hours, for a job that takes max 30 minutes, and the result is appalling! It is so badly done!!! The plumber did not clean the first bathroom which was a mess, so I did, and then I told him that I could also clean the shower, which was left messy. Wait, there is more to it! When I asked him how much to pay, he said 448 pounds! He spent over 2 hours for the silicon thing, taking his time, drinking coffee and obviously being very slow to do things. I told him I won't be paying, and he said speak to the company! I am honestly thinking to take legal action, as the (silicon) job was very badly done, but also he overcharged me - 348 pounds (448 minus 80 for plumbing and 20 p for materials). I am not going to pay, and thinking to ask for a compensation for damages in the bathrooms.

DO NOT USE! They take your card details and will keep billing you after you've settled payment on site! I paid on site for the deposit and work competed (3 hours labour for what turned to be one hours work). They then called the next day to say outstanding payment needs to be paid which I explained was sorted on the property the previous day. After this conversation the proceeded to dock the card again on this very day and again on the day after. I called them furious and they apologised claiming it'sa glitch in the system and not to worry! Still doesn't explain why they have the card details on file and are attempting to steal money. Cowboys!Thankfully I used revolut and have a spend limit on there!

READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING!!!!! I made that mistake.Firstly, I booked a service for same-day which was cancelled at the last minute after waiting several hours. Secondly, it was rebooked for the following day and again I waited several hours passed the arranged time.Thirdly, the serviceman called me to explain that he would need someone to REMOVE the toilet in order for him to fix it (!!!!). And explained the extra person would be available in three hours so I would have to PAY for him to wait for the three hours AND the total cost would be over £700!!I declined and had someone come the following day - they fixed it within 30 minutes and said it was NOT a difficult job AT ALL!!!!this company is a scam! It's actually devastating in today's climate...

Absolute shambles. Used for an emergency leak detection. Started and stopped the job over three days over costing me thousands on an hourly rate. When I called to complain I was threatened with credit control despite still having not found leak and a hole in my floor.

I had a leaky toilet and was enticed by Aspect's discount for booking online (10%).Firstly the plumber was due to arrive between 0800-1200hrs. He arrived at 14:23hrs, with no contact from anyone and no apology from him.He took one look at my toilet and asked for my WiFi password... because he needed to look up how to fix it on YouTube(!). I should have showed him the door there and then. He watched his tutorial video and proceeded to spend an hour trying to remove the toilet from the wall, whilst treating me to a chorus of expletives. Eventually he said he needed a part, but didn't have one with him and he'd need to go buy one and come back. This round trip took him over an hour. Cue another hour and a bit of expletives as he struggled to fit the new part, which he then described as incorrect" and the toilet still leaked. He told me to buy the correct part myself online and call them back out (for a fee
