Terrible experience. We visited on a busy bank holiday weekend, queued for around 20 minutes to get in, then we were charged £5 and told there were parking spaces at the top by the visitor centre. Once through, we found that we couldn’t even get down the road because there were so many vehicles trying to get out who hadn’t been able to park. We drove to the end of a narrow access road only to find that there was nowhere to park unless you wanted to park in a bog which might have been ok for a 4x4 but not most vehicles. We then had to turn around and leave. When we told the lady at the gate that we hadn’t been able to park and wanted our money back, she was very argumentative, telling us that she knew there was spaces available and refused to give a refund. What a joke, avoid, avoid, avoid!

Amazing beach. Absolutely love the sound of braking waves and water goes down from stones. Music to my ears. Big parking near the beach and fresh air.

The quality of the road surface is extremely poor due to the vast number of large, and often deep, pot holes littered along it. Essentially, the road is hazardous and makes driving extremely difficult, even when going very slowly. In my view, the local council should invest some money in repairing all the major pot holes in preparation for the start of the tourist season!!

Nice location for the beach, rocks are pretty tough to climb with kids, however there is a path through the rocks further up the carpark by the Life guards hut. It would also be nice to be able to transfer the season pass to different cars.

Stunning beauty beach, free parking during the winter, dogs allowed on the beach during the winter or far end during the summer. Great for an evening sunset walk to see the most stunning sunsets

Great car park, spacious and with 3 different access roads. Very friendly and helpful staff on the gate we used, taking time to share helpful local knowledge and talking us through the options for daily or weekly parking (thank you, Nickie!). Very good facilities once parked up, with a massive beach at low-tide, which is dog-friendly in large sections and carefully life-guarded.

A conveniently placed carpark right next to WWHo! Beach. Season tickets are recommended to make the pennies stretch further. There is also a visitors centre located at the far side with a cafe close by.

Great dog friendly beach after the lifeguard station. Very rocky but once the tide goes out there is plenty of sand.Clean beach, child and dog friendly. Large car park but it does fill quick on a hot day.Facilities located at far end and clean and maintained throughout the day.

Sizeable car park in the summer months (smaller when the seasons change due to flooding) with access to the burrows and the lifeguarded (again summer) beach. Great place for SUP or surfing or just general beach activities. There's a toll to use the road to the car park from Easter to the end of October which is £5 and then free outside these dates. Pretty reasonable if you compare to other local beaches for all day parking. Season ticket for £50 is worthwhile if you're local, or a week ticket is available too (handy for holiday makers) for around £17 I think. I've always found the staff here to be pleasant and informative. There's also a cafe and toilets at the northern end of the car park.

Such a brilliant asset to the area. £5 only to park and even during August when it is busy there are like an infinite number of parking spaces. We bought a week pass for £15 because it is great and meant we didn’t have to find parking in Westward Ho! which is horrific in August in a big SUV!Dogs get to enjoy the beach, plenty of spaces to park, toddler gets to enjoy the gentle waves of the sea and an excellent cafe and toilets at the end of one of the car parking areas. Why others are moaning on here I don’t know - you take the risk when you enter this sort of wild car park about availability of spaces and if you don’t mind keeping options open and have to walk further than anticipated then this is the place to take the family. Thanks for offering the service!
