I am disgusted at getting a parking ticket in this car park for the stay of 14 minutes whilst trying to settle my 16 month old. I never left the car park and they are still saying I need to pay £100!!!!!It was safer for us and other motorists/pedestrians for me to park in here rather than on the road.I have appealed this and explained why I had to stay there in a safe place until he settled and they have refused it.Absolute disgrace!

Had to put one star because there is a no star option.*********************************************************************Elsecar Cricket Club you might want to consider getting rid of Parking Eye they are wrecking your reputation.I parked there by accident following the train sign at the entrance thinking it was the Heritage centre. We werent too bothered at paying as we thought it would go to support local sport. I used the pay by phone system and had a bit of trouble with key presses. I was a bit surprised when the charge was £5.20, but then thought maybe the signage hadn't been corrected following the pandemic. Once we set off walking I realised it was to far my wife to walk as she has an arthritic knee. So I wasn't very happy (understatement) to receive a parking charge notice claiming I hadnt paid. The appeals process is clearly explained, so I thought no problem I sent a screen shot showing Id used the pay by phone service and redacted credit card statement showing the fee going out. Back came the response from Parking Eye - I hadnt provided evidence of payment. There is an appeal process run by the trade body, again provided my evidence, then Parking Eye provided theirs. The adjudicator found with the operator on the grounds that I must have entered the wrong location and without an email receipt there is no evidence of payment. The operator isnt liable for the operation of the pay by phone service.,Mean time please heed my warning - dont risk a £100 PCN, don,t just take my word for it query Parking Eye Ltd PCN on googleElsecar Cricket Club you might want to consider getting rid of Parking Eye they are wrecking your reputation.

Had a fantastic day at Elsecar CC for the Northern finals day last Sunday. A big well done to everyone involved from everyone at Beacon CC, Staffs.

What a great venue for a Christening. Really welcoming staff, immaculately clean and well decorated room and a fully stocked licensed bar. It's probably one of the best kept secrets for a venue in the area. I will definitely book it again.
