AVOID AT ALL COSTSI paid for a 2 hour lesson over the phone: £55 and was told someone would be in touch to organise the time of the lesson within a maximum of 24 hours.Three days later I’d heard nothing so chased up and the lady in what I now realise to be a call centre was totally unapologetic and told me that as an instructor had not been in touch it was not their problem anymore as they simply assign instructors but don’t follow up or keep track of the process. She then said someone would be in touch later that day or failing that, the following one (five days after first payment). No one called, so again I had to chase up and was given the same story that it was the instructors error and that they could issue a refund if needed. Really disappointing as it was the Bill Plant Driving School who I had paid to organise the service, and they ended up being completely unaccountable for it after payment and could not offer a resolution.Totally impersonal and unprofessional service which has cost me a week when I could have booked other lessons elsewhere. Still waiting for money to reappear in my account which is also inconvenient.

Appallingly sad discriminationI must admit that it hurts my feelings, deeply to suffer discrimination like this in UK, specially when I'm the 1st saying that UK isn't as bad as the other countries in Europe.I call the 1st time on the 30th of September, explain my situation, that I have my driving test on the 31st of October. Couldn't make the payment because I was abroad.Call the 2nd time on the 3rd of October, to make the payment, the person I've spoken with, clearly does not care if she was ruining my future, once I've booked the test months ago and was struggling to find an available instructor, and we all know how hard it has been to find a test date this year, says there's nothing that could be done because of the company policies"

I was walking my dog and I saw a learner driver in a Bill Plant car stall while setting off from a junction. As I passed by the car the girl driving the car was clenching the steering wheel while the male instructor" was yelling at her and beating the dashboard with his fist."

In the grand theatre of life's endeavours, one may find individuals who, sadly, fail to comprehend the solemnity of their roles. Noor Alam, the instructor entrusted with the lofty task of guiding neophytes along the labyrinthine pathways of motoring, exemplifies this woeful category. Far from embodying the stoic virtues of patience and understanding, Mr. Alam conducted himself with a disposition I can only describe as rude—rude in manner, rude in speech, and, most distressingly, rude in the very execution of his duties. As I endeavoured to master the intricate ballet that is modern driving, with its complex choreography of shifting gears and reading signs, I yearned for guidance on the crucial aspects that would enable me to pass the all-important driving test. Alas, Mr. Alam, perhaps lost in his own interpretations of vehicular artistry, opted instead to imbue me with an esoteric curriculum of driving techniques. Techniques, mind you, that might serve one well in a Grand Prix, but offer little solace to a soul yearning for the basic competence required to pass a state examination. The role of a driving instructor is a venerable one, akin to that of a general leading his troops into battle. One needs a compass, a guiding light, a beacon of wisdom, to traverse the foggy roads that lie ahead. Mr. Alam, unfortunately, was none of these. He was not the stalwart shepherd guiding his flock, but rather a rambunctious goat leading all astray. It is my solemn duty to report that any individuals in search of a guiding star would do well to seek illumination elsewhere. The encounter with Mr. Alam, far from enlightening, serves as a somber lesson in the consequences of entrusting one's fate to hands not suited for the mantle they wear. And so, as we steer through the road of life, let us choose our instructors wisely, lest we find ourselves, as I did, lost in the wilderness, with nary a signpost in sight.Winston Churchill

Had a few lessons with Noor but wouldn’t recommend. Made me feel very self conscious and was rude/ patronising to me. Not a nice environment to learn in and felt like on the verge of tears after every lesson. Felt especially like he enjoyed talking down to me because I’m a young woman

Customer service 5/5. Instructor 1/5.I'm satisfied with the customer service at Bill Plant, though I can no longer recommend the instructor I had, S.M. for Leeds/Harrogate area. We've previously established a rather flexi approach to (re)arranging appointments - with BOTH parties having requested changes/cancellations before. So I was disappointed when one day he agreed to cancel a 2hr session without warning me that this time, it will be charged. When I brought up the fact that he himself have requested several changes/cancellations in the past without much fuss from me, I was met with a firm it's policy" stance. 1. As a courtesy

I had an awesome experience with Andy from Bill Plant leeds. He was an excellent instructor. Always professional, never cared about the money or packages. Made sure i book the date he was available and made sure i pass. I passed with just 1 minor fault. Which shows his instructions were to the point.I would proudly refer him

Had a great driving instructor called Lee, made me feel so confident and never had any issues, he left for unknown reasons so I was passed on to Raz. He made me feel so unconfident, kept grabbing hold of the steering wheel, told me to go when he had his foot on the brake which makes zero sense. Made me feel awful about driving, then went with my mum afterwards because she saw how stressed I was and had no issues with her either! Absolute joke.

Not been taught by this guy personally but wouldn't trust him to teach me how to drive seeing as though he can't seem to drive himself. Seen his car all around Leeds and he never seems to know what he's actually doing. I'm always patient with learner drivers because I know how stressful it can be but whenever I check, he's in the car alone. Not safe to be on the roads himself, let alone teaching others.
