Maintenance takes forever. The kitchen and washroom was dirty during the moving day. If you have a problem in your room, don’t even expect it to be fixed within a day or two. It will take forever. All they do is send emails when you complain about anything that’s inconvenient, for example, if there’s a noise complain- all they do is send warning emails which no one cares and you have to deal with it. People at the reception won’t even cater to your complain. Fire alarm gets triggered frequently during inconvenient hours. If you have a problem with your flatmates and you want help from the managers in the reception, they will turn blind eye and won’t even bother to ask your problem. Before booking please consider everything and not just the price. Can’t wait to move out from this place.

This is my second year here (I've booked a third) its just cracking value for what is a great location. The staff are amazing Steph and the team are always there to help out as much as they can. Overall a great experience (plus the events are amazing, especially St Patricks day).

It's a great location, very close to Uni-of and you deffinately get what you pay for. 8/10 would stay again.They have this app that you can use to report any maintenance issues and it gets sorted pretty damn quickThe people who work there are very nice and extremely approachableGreat place to start up and I'm thinking of living there next year too :)

Great place for students at lower rent, unique building structure, staffs are friendly but there is no timely communication from homes for students

Lived there 2022/2023. The staff are friendly- when you see them! Before I even moved in they tried to cancel my accommodation twice because of a miscommunication on their end, leading to me having to change rooms both times and almost not having a room at all as the 2nd time was in August. So much hassle and extra stress and should have been a sign to not move in at all. Infested with silverfish. Room was filthy upon moving in. Found a pingpong ball and cans under the bed and stickers on the walls, and the MATTRESS- horrible stains all over it. Very obvious they don't clean their rooms between tendencies. I lived on the top floor and the elevator broke in October and was never fixed. There was a hole in the roof that never got fixed either and we got the blame for the water damage. Constant plumbing problems and brown water coming from taps. We had a power cut that left our flat without power for over 24 hours. 2 different members of the maintenance staff came and couldn't find the problem. I ended up personally investigating and fixing the problem. It was a flipped fuse! Neither of them had even bothered to open the fuse box! I then got told off for opening the fuse box and fixing it myself. I did this two more times throughout my tendency. The lights above the sinks in one of the bathrooms and in my room never worked and never got fixed. The window in my room didn't shut properly and couldn't be locked- never got fixed either despite me reporting it multiple times including upon arrival. Lastly, there were 2 VERY loud parties held by the staff themselves in the garden area. The first went on throughout the night. The 2nd was in the middle of the day in exam season. Complaints are ignored or answered in generic passive emails that result in nothing.

Filthy accommodation infested from day one with cockraches.Management will not treat the problem despite continuing complaints.Stay elsewhere.***I am the rent guarantor for a current student who has been continually reporting an infestation without it being treated despite the response detailed below from the manager.

I have had an issue with my radiator for over a month and no one has come to fix it. they just send you a message saying we don't have access to your room and don't ask when you are free to let them in the room. the issue has caused me to lose sleep and have terrible nights. only saving grace is the WIFI. can't wait to leave this place and get a better one next year

Absolutely filthy cockroach infested accommodation never live here. Flats are clearly not cleaned in between tenants because ours was an absolute dump when we arrived covered in filth and grease and rotting food in bin. Cleaners don’t do their job at all - when asked to come in on the first day to sort it out two blokes showed up with a face on and did nothing but sweep the corridor and be aggressive with us. Whole flat is infested with cockroaches and it’s been like pulling teeth to get anyone to come in and do any treatments we only got a response when we reported the building to environmental health. Bathrooms are covered in black mould because of moisture leaking through the ceilings - every fault we have reported multiple times for months and nothing gets done. Not worth saving a bit of money to live here because you’ll spend it just cleaning the place up. Staff are completely arlarse too and won’t do anything but shrug things off and pretend they will get something done. There’s also zero security so you will be kept up all night listening to drunk posh kids screaming their heads off

St Andrews has been the most look out property for most of the students here and I was able to book my room in a quick span of time. It very budget friendly, it’s bout 4 mins walk to the uni and and the city centre and the other surroundings which are really useful on a daily basis. The rooms here have a wonderful view on the outside and the people at the reception are great and are extremely friendly and get things done as soon as possible.
