River island at Stockport is much better than other brands. Reasonable prices and good stuff. If you want to purchase better quality things than Stockport Primark then you may give a chance to River Island. I love to handbags collection they have. You will get Everything like for gents, ladies and kids. Do visit

Nice and wide selection of menswear and good that isn't like other clothing shops were only a tiny corner of the shop is for mens clothing.A staff member at the till upstairs served me when I bought some clothing very friendly, and smiling created good atmosphere very rare to see a genuine sming and happy staff member.

I took my young grand daughter into the merseyway store last Monday , She was very excited! She wanted to try a pair of trainers on .There was no where to sit so She went into one of the cubicles .I waited outside the cubicle to be near if she needed any help ! I was told by the assistant not to loiter round the changing rooms ,As old men near the changing rooms puts off the young girls ! When I pointed out that there was nowhere for her to try the trainers on She pointed at a seat which was hidden a cloths rail .Her attitude was disgusting! Whilst I can appreciate that you do not want man hanging around .There is a difference to a grandad taking his 6 year old grandauter out .It could and should have been handled much better !! STILL ANNOYED AT BEING SPOKEN TO .IN SUCH A BAD MANNER !

It's sertanly worth buying the clothing from there for the summer & there are some old stock left as well from the winter months last year & all so staff are very friendly & warm welcoming to ..........

I wen to River Island store for a online order,I was dealt with very quickly and professional at the till area staff helpful and was very pleased with my sandals I bought. Nice store trendy clothes and a good sail rail. would recommend a visit.

I have some lovely clothes from here, although I don’t like a lot of what they sell either. I wouldn’t recommend buying handbags from River, they seem to be made of poor quality and always end up knackered after a few months of wearing. The Stockport branch could have a better choice of what they choose to sell in that particular store, it seems to get sent all the rubbish clothes compared to others
