I see him each Saturday as I drive past so today I decided to do my training and ran out to him, I wasn't disappointed. Love the detail and height, Iron Henry is definitely worth the effort of visiting.

Our four grandchildren have a Christmas tradition of hanging tinsel round the Iron Man's neck and body. We did this today 21.12.22 only to find some 10 minutes later someone had torn it down. How sad that someone can think that that was clever , necessary, funny or in anyway in the spirit of Christmas. We went back to replace it again then went past again and gave a big cheer when our 2nd effort was still in place. We hope the person has a Happy New Year and is more magnanimous in the future.

Fascinating statue/sculpture before and after his recent decoration.Passed this so many times on the road without noticing it. Easier to spot at certain times of the year and if you're on the walking trail you can go right up to it.
