Prior to having personal training sessions with Adam, I felt physically unfit and had put on weight after recovering from knee surgery. I signed up with Adam around the end of June 2018 and within 6 months Adam has transformed my life. Through eating and exercise plans and working with me to set realistic goals, my fitness levels have improved paramounts and I have lost 2 stone. My overall health has improved vastly since training with Adam. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting a permanent change to not only themselves but their lifestyle as a whole. Adam is friendly, positive, non judgemental and supportive through the whole process.

Before training with Adam I hadn't done any proper exercise for a long time and was very unfit. I was therefore pretty apprehensive about my ability to cope with a couple of intensive sessions per week, which is what I decided I needed to really help me progress! I'd never been a fan of gyms and had come to the conclusion that the only thing that was going to get me off the sofa was to have someone there to encourage and push me, which prompted me to look for a personal trainer. My life is pretty full on with two children and running my own business, which involves a fair amount of travelling and I therefore hoped that the the exercise regime would help me to increase my energy levels, strength and also to hopefully lose a bit of weight. Adam spent a significant amount of time in our first session establishing my goals and general levels of fitness, which he then used as a basis for the training programme he developed for me. Our sessions were always challenging, however he managed to strike the right balance between pushing me, whilst ensuring the exercises I was doing were achievable. He also changed the exercises/circuits along the ways to ensure I didn't get bored with doing the same routine at every session. In addition to the twice weekly training sessions, he developed a weekly training plan (with very useful video clips to copy), provided nutritional advice and monitored my eating through a weekly plan which I completed. I also received texts from him which helped motivate me to keep on track. I really appreciated Adam's style which is very warm and personable, although quiet assertive in training sessions, which I definitely needed! After 6 months of training with Adam, my fitness levels are significantly better, I feel stronger, have lost some weight and feel far more confident that I can achieve even greater levels of fitness in the future.

I completed 3 months of personal training with Adam, focussed on improving my running. He was fantastic - provided a clear training plan, was motivating and encouraging in sessions, as well as keeping in contact in between, and also provided lots of ad-hoc advice about nutrition and training at all hours of the day. He helped me improve my strength, stamina and running technique and taught me lots.

Before working with Adam I was running sporadically but kept injuring myself and was beginning to think that maybe running just wasn't for me. I just wanted to be able to run consistently without hurting myself. I was floundering and knew I needed some help, so I turned to Google. Adam had great reviews from all kinds of people including beginners like myself. We had a chat over the phone and then met in person where we did a health mot and a short run to get a starting point. Adam has since written me 3 months of training plans and I am please to say I am now running 3/4 times a week with no injuries, I can comfortably run 5k in just under 30 minutes and have almost built up to 10k. Adam has kept in touch every step of the way with regular txts and phone calls and is very supportive. I have enjoyed the runs and my health and fitness have improved loads. Next I plan to build up to a half-marathon!

If you have a fitness goal, get in touch with Adam and before you know it you will be a fitter, happier version of yourself and wish you had spoken to him sooner! I've not only run the half-marathon I set out to finish, but I've lost weight and have a complete different approach to health and fitness - something which Adam helped to facilitate. I first decided to get in touch with Adam after starting running a few years before but not being very good at it! I knew I needed advice about techniques and my nutrition which was very poor. I have a hectic work life and work shifts that change at short notice. I was fairly active with running, spinning, swimming, yoga and walking but didn’t seem to get the results I wanted. I ran regular running events but always just managed to get myself around whereas I wanted to run them comfortably and confidently.I started sessions with Adam after returning from holiday at the end of June 2018. We went on the first run and he pointed out how I was running in good ways and other ways which I could improve. It seemed so obvious! Adam explained the nutrition plan and still continues to give me sound advice about the foods I eat. I have totally changed my outlook to food and as a result of changes I’ve made I have realised intolerances that I have and how the food I was eating was affecting me.The plan Adam creates for me incorporates all of the exercise I enjoy and at the same time pushes me.I have revisited some of the running events I previously completed and been amazed at the results. I now achieve between four to six minutes off previous PB’s! I certainly wouldn’t have achieved these times without Adam’s expertise and support. Even on those days when it might be raining, I’ve had a tough day at work and really don’t want to go out, Adam turns up at the door, smiling and full of positivity! I always feel one hundred per cent better after.I remember Adam saying in the very beginning that we should spend as much time and money on our health and well-being as we do cars and holidays and he is so right. I feel fitter and healthier than I have ever felt and my only regret is not doing this in my twenties.

Adam's positive approach and enthusiasm make the training sessions really enjoyable. I'm a regular runner but i was amazed at how much improvement I made in just one session out on the trails - it's already transformed how I approach steep hill sections. By breaking the strength work into smaller modules he makes it easier to fit it into the day, and therefore more likely to stick. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to improve and develop their running.

Highly recommend Adam as a personal trainer. He helped me achieve many goals - improving my running pace while increasing miles, increasing strength and overall fitness and helping me adapt my diet to lose weight.
