An amazing store with great customer service both in the shop and online. The staff will always go above and beyond to find what you are needing. You are never let down on RSD and their OBI editions and live gigs are fantastic! Go and check it out!

Not just a record shop. A community for those who love music. From album release live events to. live in-store events and signings to friendly chat and great support of the local music scene. The amazingly friendly and helpful staff make this shop a must visit for anyone with even the slightest interest in music. I’ve lost count of the times where front of shop staff, office staff and management have gone the extra distance to make my record buying experience perfect.Get yourself down there.

Mail orderCan't recommend this store highly enough. Have purchased a few bits of vinyl from them over December and January and the packages always arrive very quickly. Most recent one had several items and was extremely well packaged with great care obviously taken to make sure they arrived in perfect condition. Will definitely use them again for future purchases.

This place only deals in New records, not pre-owned - however don't let that put you off! they are extra helpful and they are well priced. Many records they sell aren't available elsewhere as they're pressings specifically for assai, and they're a local shop too.And they also host events where you might see artists live, on the street or in store!Edit June 23: if anything, they've done nothing but continue to impress :)

Always come out with a new record every time I go in. Lovely staff and a wide selection of vinyls of many genres both new and old. If I'm looking for something specific this is where I'd look first!

Been shopping in Assai for years. Best record shop in the city, staff are super friendly and helpful and always up for a chat about music. Have ordered in tones for me over the years that they didn't have in store and always put on great live events. They stock a great variety of records alongside cassettes, books, tshirts, mugs and turntables and as said would always be happy to order something in for you if they didn't have it.
