Chips were just awful & tasteless. Curry sauce like coloured water and I've seen bigger fish fingers than the cod served up. Only ones in but the oder was mixed up!Won't be returning.

For a South Coast boy in the North East this was a slice of home. No frills, no silliness, just beautifully, freshly fried fish and chips in a proper chippy. I know where ill be coming when I come back to Sunderland.

Ordered on Just Eat, food already an hour late. Phoned restaurant and was told no driver had turned up. Said they wouldn't do anything about it and it wasn't there problem anyway...Awful service, avoid avoid avoid

Sat upstairs in this chipshop, no time to sit down or take our coats off when asked 'do u know what u want'.. was then served luke warm teas and a coffee..Our food was put before us without a word from the girl, altho we acknowledged her and thanked her.. we let her know our chips were cold, and then the ignorant man came up, spoke to the girl, ignored us when asked to come over.. on our way out he would not acknowledged that we had asked about having fresh chips when we brought it to his attention, he was so very rude...Will not be returning

Very disappointing, maybe it was the time of day I visited to eat at 2pm today. Greasy fish and cold awful chips. Sorry but I won't go again.

We had there fish and chips nice yes. Today we went in restaurant up stairs well waited 5 minutes to be served of what we wanted only one girl to serve everyone I was not amused at all so we walked out told the owner downstairs needed 2 girls upstairs not one so he lost my money we went elsewhere.
