Best hairdressers I've been to! The staff are lovely, professional and attentive. Louise is my number 1 she cuts colours and styles beautifully, I've never had a bad hair day from any of the other stylists what an experienced talented bunch! Wouldn't go anywhere else top rated!

owner is an absolute joke and has no respect, left a 13 year old child in wet hair in freezing cold weather ( yes the service was free as i had a trial day and he was nice enough to let me do her hair for free) however a very small issue arised and he kicked us out.In my opinion he took advantage of the fact i was younger and he knew that he wasn’t gonna hire me from the start and just took this situation to his advantage to kick me out. Just disgusting and unprofessional not only with us, but with other clients.Theres so much else to say about him however i’m not gonna embarrass him just like he did with me but just don’t apply to work here, waste of time and isn’t worth the disrespect.Rest of staff are lovely, very welcoming!But as many others mentioned prices are mad for the level of “professionalism” they have and bring back the old owner!!

I started going to Christos just over a year ago and I go on a regular basis. Anna has been my hairdresser since day one, she is a great hairdresser and takes care of my hair each time. I am quite nervous when it comes to cutting my hair as I worry that too much will be taken off but Anna is really great at not overdoing it and checks with me on the length before cutting. I have never been disappointed in my hair. In my opinion this is a really affordable salon and I always recommend the salon to people.

I recommend Christos it has always been the best salon on the high St. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I see stylist Lisa who is always happy to discuss what cut I would like. At the momment I like my hair to be razored so it's nice and choppy. It's always busy so i book an appointment in advance.

Will never return again. Treated more like an inconvenience than a customer. Went for a wash cut and blow dry all I was asked was how much I wanted off. I asked for only what was needed but have lost about a third of the length of my hair. Wasn’t asked if I wanted any layers or how I wanted it styled nothing. Staff were too busy cutting and colouring each others hair to care about customers.

Love my colour by a lovely girl g , my cut is horrendous I honestly don’t think the majority of staff know how to cut hair been here before, price fluctuates paid £100 last time for full head highlights with cut, this time paid paid £85 for same but with toner?? , think the majority of staff should not be hairdressers as have not got the patience to be doing people’s hair and huffing and puffing , I seriously cannot believe the way my hair was cut yesterday I’m going to have to go and get it cut properly today , not even picked my hair up to cut it just cut it around and followed my previous cut, and used clippers hair not straight I think I was just in shock and could not believe the way my hair was being cut to say anything , my hair was only half straightened too even my partner asked why my hair was curly at back of head when I just got home….

i got my hair washed here by a lovely young girl today. she was so gentle on me and made me feel really comfortable. if you ever want to get your hair washed at Christos, ask for Caitlin she is amazing and will give you a good laugh

I have been going to Christos for a long time now and I could not recommend it enough. For the past few years Anna has been looking after my hair and I was always very happy with the style or the colour she suggested. Very skillful and kind, she is the best! I feel like a new woman every time I get off that chair. Brilliant lady, thank you!

I have had amazing experiences previously but yesterday but I was devastated with my results when I got home. I realised the colour is not what I expected,which was discussed at my consultation, and the cut I requested is not what I asked. Though it is not bad, it’s not what I wanted exactly. I asked for a darker shade of red and layers with curtain bangs. The colour is a reverse ombré of what I asked for is lighter at the roots and darker at the ends, the layers are not correct and I didn’t even get curtain bangs. In the consultation I was told my roots would be bleached to an orange prior to the colour to achieve darker roots but on the day they were bleached to a yellow which has resulted in them being too light. The woman who was doing my hair had went out back (I presume on her break) and had not checked on the development of the bleach once until she had finished. I had tried communicate with the woman as she did my hair to not only get a better understanding of what what happening but to ensure they were also comfortable doing my hair, but it seemed that they didn’t quite understand my questions most of the time. When we were establishing the price at the end, the two women at the desk exchanged confusing looks as they both discussed different prices (which had a difference of £60) which made me feel uncomfortable as it sounded as if they were being dishonest and I was being overcharged. During my consultation I was told that the price was going to be lower than what I was charged also. The next day(today) I decided to call them to request a partial refund as I don’t want to go back to this store. Throughout the call they could hear me clearly, up until I started talking about wanting a partial refund and the woman kept telling me that I was ‘breaking up’. Out of discomfort, I’d hung up the phone and left it at that. About half an hour later they’d called me back to give me an excuse as to why they could not give me a partial refund and then suggested I come back in to reassess the hair for a reduced price however, I no longer trust them with my hair.
