The room is astonishingly beautiful, the oils smell fabulous and the team are so welcoming and kind. I received a treatment with the highly gifted Sam. We shared wonderful chats on finding calm in the everyday and after my treatment I had the most restorative night of sleep that was entirely due to my massage. I will return soon to cocoon and replenish.

A calm and tranquil space that is nestled in the heart of a wonderful private mews. I honestly felt like I was walking into a private residence as a guest and nothing was too much trouble. My treatment started with an in depth medical consultation and one based around my chakras and how I wanted to feel post the treatment which I found made it tricky for me to choose as I am naturally indecisive! This aside I get the concept and was pleased with my choice. My therapist was very calming and made me feel very comfortable although she did need to leave the room a couple of times for something which meant a slight break in the treatment but nothing that ruined the experience. I would recommend The House of Kalmar treatments to anyone looking for some me time but with real benefits, great products and a chance to have some meaningful time away from your screen or day to day grind. I chose the 90 minute treatment and so glad I did as it went so fast and I know I would have been left wanting more if I had only time for an hour! My only small criticism is regarding the treatment bed, it is very high so if you are short I am sure it would have made it difficult to get on it, maybe a small stool or step would help with an easier access on and off it.

I believe that the place is part of the treatment, and so over and above the skill of the therapists, the environment at House of Kalmar is incredibly beautiful and restful – like being in your own home (without the mess!)
