Towneley Golf Club
Usually do pitch and putt at Heaton Park, but decided to try the pitch and putt at Towneley. It's a very short course between 45 yards and 60 yards. Reasonably priced at £6.50 however the greens are in a terrible state, rock solid hard and cracked was not an enjoyable round and most likely will not return here.

Course layout was good but the overall condition was not great but due to the amount of rain it was ok. Greens are really grim

Not sure what I was expecting. but booked a Tee time over the phone received a warm welcome on arrival. the course was in very good condition some nice holes. greens in good shape. really enjoyed the game with my son. an unpretentious place. I have just picked up my clubs after 20 years and will definitely return. may consider joining as the club house was also really nice.

Towneley Golf Club
Really enjoyed coming here it was our first time since it had moved from the cafe. Food portion was a little small but when it's a 3 course for £20 it was great value for money. We will be back.

Towneley Golf Club
Good club, pitch and putt has almost doubled in cost since our last visit. Rented clubs but were given clubs that would be small for most kids. Still enjoyable though, greens need potholes filling and extra TLC.

Fantastic course & in great condition. This has to be one of the best municipal courses anywhere & the staff were all very friendly & welcoming. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone & our golf society will definitely be back.

Mot station exhaust fitting and replacement tyres and a warm welcome. Very friendly staff who are also very helpful and reasonably priced parts and work
