Advance Construction Scotland Ltd

We are a skip company that Advance used. They gave us a partial address for a delivery with no site contact. Delivery was on a Saturday and we tried to find the site for 1 hour. We rang them 6 times with no answer. When they booked the skip we told them clearly that there will be a wasted journey charge if no access was available. The skip was not delivered and we charged them accordingly. They are now threatening us with a google review and insisting on money back. Donna the office manager is a totally rude ignorant idiot who needs to learn some people managing skills . Before you threaten us look into the facts . Try listening it might get you somewhere in life. This is how they deal with suppliers, give them a wide berth.

Just had a pleasure of two of the workers in a cafe not wearing masks when about 20 other folk, including staff are, and to top it off being aggressive toward the staff. Not impressed.

It seems from reviews below that I am not the only person who has been witness of and subjected to the atrocious driving of this companies staff. I was tailgated and verbally abused by men in one of your vans. They also tried to undertake almost causing a crash with a lorry. Luckily I have front and rear dash cams and will be sending this footage to the police!

So astounded at the reckless driving and sheer arrogance of one of their workers who cut me off in a works van and flipped the fingers at me. Had to emergency stop with two young kids in the car. Bad enough for me to feel the need to google the company, then seen all these reviews saying similar things about unprofessional workers. I certainly wouldn’t have them doing any construction work for me

Advance Construction came to us on behalf of Barratt Homes, they left slabs ripped up on a path and cut the main root and destroyed beautiful red ivy covering a large part of the house, despite numerous requests to complete the work they have left the area wrecked, My recommendation would be to avoid and save yourself a lot of problems....5 months on.. see pictures

Not building related. More a parking issue with one of their employees vans.For a few years now we've had a repeated problem with a dangerously parked Advance Construction van parked right at the very edge of me and my neighbours lane we for access to our driveways.On numerous occasions we had near miies with oncoming traffic on the main road because we can't see past this van. We have asked the driver on numerous occasions to move it to another location but time and again he's been rude to us and refuses to move the van saying it's a public highway. This is no way an employee should react to a member of the public asking for a simple request for public safety. My neighbours are elderly and some have small children. It's only a matter of time before there is a serious accident. The police have been informed on numerous occasions. But because of some legal loophole there's not much they can do.It's just pure ignorance on behalf of the driver and no consideration for his fellow neighbours. I suspect this guy is a manager and therefore thinks he is above everyone else. If this is the standard of employee who works for this company I suspect it gets worse down the ranks.

Van number 26 almost caused two crashed that I witnessed earlier around 5pm on the Edinburgh bypass. Complete psycho behind the wheel. Swerving, speeding, cutting up myself and others. Would have loved to have caught him at some lights, would have dragged him out the van. Looking at other reviews about the company I doubt the management even care.

Some heads up would be nice before doing work next to someone's car.Spoke to some guys on site, they said it wasn't them, called their office, they said they don't take customer complaints, and I should speak to the builder who ordered the work.I just washed the car two days ago and it was squeaky clean so it sucked to walk out to this on a Monday morning.

We got work done from Advance Construction. And if we could give more stars we would. 5 Star Plus.Noel and his team are very reliable honest and more so very professional.
