Emily was amazing bartender she was able to fulfil. My dreams are providing the most wonderful drink as well as a beautiful sense of atmosphere with her friendly professional nature. I would highly recommend the railway just because she is so amazing.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful although there should have been more than one server when we arrived at 2pm. Orders via the app for drinks to be bought to the table unfortunately was not successful as there was not enough staff. I ended up going to the bar to get the drinks. The place was nice and clean and the food was ok, nothing extraordinary, and pricey for what it is. I did enjoy my visit and will go back when the meal deals are in place

Lovely time spent on 24/11/23 for a birthday celebration. Staff also managed to sort out and throw out a number of disorderly people using the toilets for extra activities involving certain illegal substances. A good pub and a good atmosphere.

I would give 4 stairs but I indeed gave 5 stairs because my sister's choice prawn cocktail was frozen & my eldest son's soup was warmer then hotter. All over the service is good & quickly. Foods are delicious & asked me which one vegetarian or Vegan before service to me. Staff are friendly & check with us if need more drink, unfortunately they didn't wear mask for safety for my mum's sake because she had heart attack last January this year. It's was lovely Christmas Dinner. I would come back unless make sure any foods are not frozen or warmer enough.

I’ve been going to the railway for many years. The staff are absolutely LOVELY and extremely friendly. Ask Luke to crack you a joke as an ice breaker. Emily makes a killer hot chocolate and Jess has a cute dog (she’s also a great manager). Jam has a 10/10 moustache and you should ask him about his badges. Ethan brings PRIDE to the pub, whilst Jane is the best OG. The fires are lit both figuratively and literally. Great selection of food and beer.

The atmosphere here was jolly, there were a few groups of people that knew each other and they included my friend and I into their conversations, which I thought was friendly.The staff are amazing, very polite, courteous and helpful. The food was delivered quickly and was hot. I would definitely recommend this pub. There is a car park and ‘tap in’ car registration, it also has a garden with ample seating and a smoking area.

Found this when looking for a place to stop for lunch with the family and was not disappointed. The beers are well kept and tasted on point. The food was great. I recommend the mixed grill, 2 proper butcher sausages proper gammon ham, chicken, bacon, eggs, mushroom, steak the lot. Generous portions. I recommend upgrading the steak. The double cheese burger was also gourmet quality. For what we got, the price was very, very reasonable. They do various specials on certain days and cheap beer on Mondays. Well worth checking out.

Always a good stop for a nice pint and a comfortable place to stop. Good beer, good food. Nice dessert as shown (vegan cheesecake).Jam (James) is a very nice guy as are the rest of the team. Grateful! :)

Service was very good although a little slow bringing food to us once ordered. Staff were exceptional, reacting to each request immediately whilst being friendly & generally helpful, allowing us to enjoy the entire evening.
