Played Reay - combining the NC500 road trip and the Janes Braid highland golf tour . Really enjoyed the course which is in great condition and a good varied test . Loved the small club house , 2 lovely ladies on duty very friendly , nice sandwich and a cold can of cider

A warm welcome and an absolute gem of a course. The course was immaculate and we had amazing weather. The staff were lovely and all the green keepers were very polite.A test of golf of you're not very straight (like me) as the rough can be a real challenge to even find your ball let alone get out of it.The club house and facilities are quite small but has everything you need. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a great experience on atrue links course. Fred and Carol went above and beyond to get us set up and on our way. Was able to keep my ball in play; it will find a place of honor when I return home.

Great golfcourse! The views are amazing and the holes challenging. We loved to play here and we will certainly go back when we are around. The hostess was very friendly and so were the other players that we met.If you hit the ball straight, it is easy. If not (by example because of the wind), you might loose a few balls in the rough. On the other hand: you will find a few as well!!

A memorable experience at Reay Golf Club: Warm Welcome, Stunning Views, and delicious lemon cake! The atmosphere at Reay Golf Club is incredibly easy-going, which created a relaxed and welcoming environment. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a beginner like us, the club has a friendly and inclusive vibe that instantly puts you at ease.Reay Golf Club is situated right by the beach, providing stunning views of the ocean. The combination of rolling greens, rugged cliffs, and the crashing waves created a truly mesmerizing backdrop for our round of golf. And let's not forget about the lemon cake! Paired with a cup of coffee from the self-service machine, it was the perfect way to start our game.We highly recommend visiting this club, whether you're an avid golfer or simply looking to enjoy the beauty of the Scottish coast. Reay Golf Club will not disappoint!

What a fantastic golf course Reay is! There isn't a bad hole. Greens were fantastic and the course was in great condition. So many interesting holes, with a premium on accuracy off the tee. I particularly liked to two par 5's on the front 9. My favourite James Braid course. Everyone was very friendly and a nice clubhouse to have food and drink in. Looking forward to coming back ⛳

As a Dornoch member of over 20 years, I am ashamed to say it took me this long to venture north to Reay. What an ABSOLUTELY special set of links. The Braid layout is second to none-- and I believe it is as special as a set of links as can be found in Scotland. The routing of the front and back is challenging, quirky (like Braid) but fair. It presents vistas of the beach and the dunes on Braid's choice (the course's famous par 5) are among the tallest I've seen. The routing of 4th hole (par 5) plays the third shot into a green protected by a massive dune that I've only seen in Ireland and perhaps Rye (Jubilee course). I now plan to make Reay an annual pilgrimage, and I encourage anyone who loves TRUE links to visit. As a total aside, the staff and clubhouse are truly welcoming and visitors feel like long-lost members. I only wish they had a bit of shop gear to buy to commemorate a GREAT experience.
