We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for all of William and Mercedes hard work and dedication in making our wedding day absolutely perfect at Longstowe Hall. The day surpassed our wildest dreams, and we couldn't be happier with how everything came together.From the moment we started working with William, Mercedes and the team, their professionalism and attention to detail were evident. They took the time to understand our vision and turned it into a reality that exceeded our expectations. The venue looked absolutely stunning, and every aspect of the day was flawlessly executed.Their meticulous planning and seamless coordination ensured that everything ran smoothly, including being able to hold the ceremony outside with the uncertain weather. We were able to relax and enjoy every moment without any worries or stress. It was truly a day filled with love, joy, and cherished memories, and we owe it all to their hard work and dedication.We also want to extend our gratitude to their incredible team. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our guests feel welcome and taken care of. The delicious food, the impeccable service, and the beautiful ambiance created an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance.Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day a magical one. A wonderful venue for our daughter's wedding. Stunning, well-kept grounds which were a fantastic background for the photos. (The formal gardens are shut once you sit down for dinner.) The whole day was well organised, the marquee was magnificent and the food by the caterers, Portfolio, was superb. The venue is opened at 10.00am for setting up on the morning of the wedding and everything needs to be cleared away by yourself or your suppliers after the evening party - but everything is explained in the T&Cs.

Lovely picturesque place, with amazing gardens.

My husband and I held our wedding reception at Longstowe Hall in April.Not only is Longstowe Hall an absolutely stunningly gorgeous venue, the team who run the events are fantastic. Linda and Mercedes made all the wedding planning so incredibly easy and then on the day Linda was there to help and ensured the reception ran smoothly. The grounds are immaculate and the marquee was the perfect space for keeping all the guests together without it feeling crowded. Both the grounds and the marquee have the 'wow' factor, this really is a venue you must go and look at. But as mentioned what really makes this venue a 5*+ venue, is the team working there. They answered all questions and queries incredibly quickly and really wanted us to have the best day that we possibly could.Longstowe Hall and the team provided us with the most marvellous wedding day and I cannot thank them enough for that.

Fabulous gardens, stunning setting was a nice couple of hours. Thanks to Peter for some information on the house & garden he gave on entering the car park. Well worth the entrance fee.

Really enjoyed the gardens at Longstowe Hall today. This is the first year the gardens have been open to the public and you have to book in advance. It's not National Trust, but the limited numbers of visitors made it all the more enjoyable. As it was a hot day we spent a couple of hours relaxing in the courtyard by the cafe, before going into the gardens when the sun was a bit lower. Started talking to a man in the garden who I thought was another visitor, then realised he was the owner. Spent ten minutes talking with him about the gardens and the history. He was really friendly and talking with him capped off an excellent day.

Opened to the public now to visit the gardens. Make suree to book from their website. Amazing place for spending 2-3 hours. The garden and lake walks is really nice. The cafe got delicious food as well.

Stunning venue chosen by our son and his partner for their wedding. Beautiful (private) house and the wonderful lawns, rose garden and lakes made the perfect backdrop for wedding photos.There was such a relaxed atmosphere which made the day even more memorable. The celebration wedding meal and entertainment was in a majesticly proportioned marquee. Mercedes and here staff were brilliant.

A secluded setting for a wedding and reception.The owners allow the use of their gardens for the ceremony and backdrop for excellent photographic opportunities.With a splendid tent housing a goodly crowd of 100 or more the facilities are what you expect.There is no hotel so you have to use local b'n'bs, lodges, pubs etc using taxi services or find alternatives to this... maybe sobering up before 00.00AM god forbid.Obviously a summer event is a better choice, so keep in mind the wonderful English weather.You get what you pay for and this includes a decently stocked bar excellent waiter/tress service. No complaints there at all. Parking for a multitude of vehicles, wonderful backdrop of a private home and plenty of trees camouflaging the sound of enjoyment within.I would try this if I got married myself....
