Ashby is blessed with some great places to have breakfast or brunch but this is definitely one of the best ones. We visited with our pooches and had two of the smaller full english breakfasts. These were cooked to order so the service is slightly slower but food was piping hot and delicious. Even the bread was toasted properly which is often not the case. We also had a flat white and a pot of tea both were excellent. Venue is small but very pleasant. We'll definitely be back, the cakes looked very appetising so we'll give those a go next time.

Sadly I could t find on trip adviser to review so once again stuck with google…This is the top end of Ashby town centreit’s not a bad coffee shop…I rated it as just a 4 because of some things that I’d expect to be better. We’d never been before and it was clearly busy, so in this case I’d have to say under staffed, sadly we know new small businesses can suffer from their own success so hopefully it will get better….. it took a while to be acknowledged at the toll area, we’d never been before and it seemed quite chaotic if I’m honest…. Eventually a table was cleared for us but nothing was explained…. We saw people going up to order so eventually we did the same, it just didn’t seem clear as some were ordering from tables. When we did get our coffees they were just about ok, but definitely needed someone who knew how to make coffee, the milk had been burnt and the coffee was bitter sadly. But just drinkable I definitely wouldn’t call it a coffee house at this stage. We ordered soup and a crust roll… soup was standard, it did taste like tinned and not homemade but it was still soup, sadly our rolls were baps soft and slightly crisped… definitely not a crusty roll. It said it came with butter, again sadly it was margarine. The desert we decided to try was definitely a winner it reminded us of the toffee chocolate corn flake tray bakes we use to get…..All in all it needs work and could be amazing. We’ll try again in a few months time and hopefully they’ll have more staff and the food on the descriptions available, with a trained barista…..

What a charming and friendly coffee shop based at the top of Market Street in Ashby. Went in today to be very surprised by the amount of choice and options of not only food but hot and cold beverages. I had a breakfast which was huge and could clearly taste it was fresh and locally produced..I was so pleased with the choice I even taken a slice of the wide choice of cakes they do for afternoon tea.I would highly recommend this little quarky shop what even has a secret gift shop hiding behind incase you forget someone's birthday.Staff friendly and happy to help.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming cafe that left a lasting impression on me. From the time I stepped inside, I was captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere of this café. It is with great enthusiasm that I share my exceptional experience at this café, which truly deserves recognition.First and foremost, the café’s ambiance was simply delightful. The interior design creates a warm, comfortable, and inviting environment where customers can relax, enjoy their time, and feel a sense of belonging. The menu extended beyond just coffee, offering a wide array of delectable treats to accompany your favorite brew. The pastries and baked goods were freshly made, and deliciousness was evident in every bite. From Oreo Brownies to indulgent cakes, there was something to satisfy every craving. The café also offered a selection of light meals and sandwiches, perfect for a quick and satisfying breakfast or lunch. Moreover, Lucy's hospitality was exceptional. She was not only attentive but also displayed genuine passion for her craft. Lucy took the time to engage in conversation, recommending her personal favorites and accommodating individual preferences. This level of personalised service made the café feel like a welcoming community rather than just a place to grab a cup of coffee and a quick bite.In conclusion, this café is a hidden gem that excelled in every aspect. From its inviting ambiance to its exceptional coffee and delectable menu, the experience was nothing short of outstanding. I highly recommend visiting this café for a memorable and gratifying coffee break. It's a testament to the passion that goes into creating memorable moments.

New favourite cafe in Ashby. Drinks and desserts were perfect, and there were lots of vegan options for those who can't or don't want to have dairy. Highly recommend!

We ate there for the first time, service was very slow we waited over 15 minutes for water and over half an hour for our food, the eggs were undercooked the sausages that claim to be from the local butcher we are confident that they are a supermarket brand in a green and white wrapper, tinned chopped tomatoes and the food was pilled up so hash browns were soggy, I suppose you get what you pay for as the food was inexpensive but will not return in a hurry saying that the waffles served to other customers looked great

Went for lunch today for the first time and had the breakfast wrap. Coffee was good, food was delicious and very hot, and the atmosphere of the café is lovely and relaxed overall. Will definitely be going again, a great little local eatery.
