When I first reached out to Helena, I felt overwhelmed and embarrassed by the state of my stuff. I could find things (most of the time), but there was just too much of it that really didn't have any value in my life.I was nervous when Helena first came by, but she was kind, personable, and understanding, which took some of the edge off. When we dug in to actually getting things organised and tidied, she ran at _my_ pace, so if I needed to take a break because it was all a bit much, she made us both a cup of tea and we got back to it again when things settled.I cannot recommend her highly enough. Whether you need a system that works for you, or simply just need an external perspective to figure out what to keep vs. what can go, she's the woman for you.Thanks Helena. :)

I cannot effuse enough about Helena McBride. My story is familiar: I was living unhappily in clutter but felt hopeless about getting a well-ordered and calmer home. I knew the process would be a journey as the situation had gone beyond the intervention of a few free Sunday afternoons.Helena has visited my home several times this year. She is a friendly and compassionate person. She has challenged ideas and cognitive distortions I have had in a supportive yet critical way. Sometimes, my decisions may not have aligned with the principles of decluttering, and yet Helena has never made me feel that I am in the wrong. On the other hand, with Helena's presence, I have happily parted with so many things in a way that I would never have done if I had tackled the situation alone. She has motivated me to continue the process between visits.I expect to have a long working relationship with Helena and am very grateful for everything she has done for my family. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Things at home were complex and I needed to create extra space while organizing the property. I was lucky to have found the space maker while looking for decluttering services.Helena had some brilliant tricks up her sleeve which worked a charm! She even shared tips on how easily I can maintain a decluttered spacious flat going forward. Talk to her she is quite engaging and provides invaluable specialist support second to none!

Helena is an absolute godsend to my house full of chaos! With 3 small children, a dog, kitten (& don’t forget the husband!) it’s hard to keep on top of things but Helena always manages to restore calm and puts a smile on my face. Absolutely recommend

Moving from a home that you have lived in for 30 years is a daunting experience for anyone! Doing the task on your own all the more so! Having someone who can be trusted guide you through the process and help you make those difficult decisions was precisely what I needed to kick start the process. I will be forever thankful for Helena's encouragement, support and clear thinking when needed. Her ability to understand why it is emotional but to help you get out of the bottom of the well and to get through what needed to be done was crucial to the success of the project.

Helena worked so amazingly with my son Andrew. Andrew has Asperger’s syndrome and learning difficulties. He had become a hoarder and was unable to organise himself. His living conditions were unmanageable and dirty. After numerous attempts searching for help from different companies, nothing seemed to help until I discovered Helena, the Spacemaker. Andrew actually enjoyed working with Helena who treated him with respect and kindness. He is now living clean, tidy and organised and so much happier which is all thanks to Helena. I’m so pleased I found her.

If you’re overwhelmed with clutter and don’t know where to start - contact Helena!!!My elderly dad’s study had become SO cluttered that he couldn’t even get in the door. He was very reluctant to have help and was extremely anxious about tackling any decluttering. I had warned Helena that he was very unsure about the idea so she met me and my dad and talked through the process very calmly and put him at ease - by the end of the meeting I genuinely couldn’t believe it when he agreed to give it a try! In total we had x4 sessions, Helena was so kind throughout and did a fab job, the end result was fantastic! Thanks Helena!

Five stars is not enough for this amazing company! Helena from The Space Maker was incredibly helpful in guiding me through a storage unit full of boxes and furniture that I had been avoiding dealing with for about 7 years! I cannot sing her praises highly enough. She is not just a declutterer, she is a guide, a counsellor and a task master (but a very kind one). I did in one day, with her help, what it would have taken me a week to do by myself.
