Igloo dining at the waterfront, what fun watching the sun go down in the igloo! little heater inside so you dont get cold too. Food was really tasty and plenty of choice. Service was great. Will definitely return for another festive igloo experience !!

What a lovely location. We stopped by for the first time for a Sunday afternoon drink. Parking wasn't the greatest with most spots taken but a leaving car gave us a spot. Lovely atmosphere and plenty of people taking advantage of the menu. Did notice that 7.30 was closing time so our timing was fortunate. We thought we'd look at the menu for next time. My wife is vegetarian (and not vegan) and most of the non meat meals were vegan so we perhaps won't return for a meal. Getting a drink was table service and it did take a little time to get our drinks - perhaps due to the amount of people taking advantage of that menu. We will certainly visit for another drink and next time might take advantage of the lovely outside seating in front of the canal 'bay'.

I cannot tell you enough how amazing this place is. we booked one of the pods and it was beautiful so cozy and warm. love that there are wireless speakers you can hook your phone up to, to play your own music.the staff were amazing especially the lady who served us (wish I knew her name, short black hair) they were so friendly and did absolutely everything possible they could for youthe food was beautiful, gorgeously presented and got to be the best food I've had out ever..(definitely recommend the beetroot and gin gravalax that was absolutely beautiful)would definitely come here again and urge everyone to take a trip down, you won't regret it

Absolutely stunning location. Staff very friendly and service was quick. Food was excellent and main meal portion sizes were very big, I couldn't eat it all. Would recommend to eat or just have drinks.

Just nipped in to pick up my grandson, had a quick pint. Food smelt lovely. Nice buzz in the restaurant. Bar staff smiley and attentive. Maybe try the food on my next visit.

I had no idea that this little gem was here, tucked away out of sight.The staff were great, really friendly and welcoming.The setting is lovely. To be able to sit and relax by the water is good.The food was really good, full of flavour and quality.We will certainly be back!

A married couple we had already booked here for a post-walk meal; although we arrived early, we were immediately seated, and soon, the attentive staff were taking our drink and food orders.The food itself was immaculately prepared and presented, and was novel as it was 'catch of the day' fish & chips - seabass, lovely. Served alongside chunky chips, tartare sauce, and mushy peas, it was all quite delicious.Pudding was a very tasty citrus cheesecake, the bill was gentle on the wallet, the ambiance was warm, and the beer was eminently drinkable.Go here for good pub restaurant food done well.

We came here today for a carvery, and it was fantastic. The waiting staff, and I assume the manageress, were very polite, friendly and seated us quickly. The atmosphere was great, with everyone being in high, Christmas spirits.We thoroughly enjoyed every course of our meal, and the cauliflower cheese was I think was the best I have ever had in my life and was gluten free! However, the star of the show were the gluten free Yorkshire puddings. My wife is coeliac so it's not that often that she is able to have them, so we both opted for one and they were delicious. My wife was so impressed with them, she even asked for the recipe which the wonderful young man who served us kindly gave her. Such a welcome and pleasant change to interact with someone in a restaurant who seemed genuinely excited that we complimented their cooking.It was well worth the drive, and we will be returning regularly for the delicious carvery we had today.Many thanks to everyone at The Waterfront, well done!
