I've been cycling to work for a couple of years, doing 20 miles a day, and found by the end of the week that I was feeling the strain, so I thought I would try and take a bit more care of myself and find a massage therapist to see if they could sort out my aches and pains.I remembered seeing Alex of Birmingham Clinical Massage at the Moseley Jazz Festival, so living locally and knowing of her good reputation, I thought I would see what she could do for me, and am I glad I did.I've been having a monthly appointment for some time now and, after trying many of the various techniques that Alex is qualified in, have found that the Thai pressure-point massage is the thing that really works for me. The difference in how I feel at the end of each week and the end of each month is amazing; no more aches and pains and I feel much stronger and cycle with more power.One of the other benefits of seeing Alex is the handy tips she's given me on how I can help myself between appointments, such as daily stretches after each cycle ride and a weekly Epsom salts bath.So, I would definitely recommend Alex and Birmingham Clinical Massage.

I've always had a weak lower back and I get knots under my shoulder blades a lot. I'd heard good things about Alex and she has really sorted me out when I've had a treatment from her. She has great technique and always reminds you to say if the pressure is too much. Also, she's got a lovely way about her which puts you at ease.
