Harrison’s Wood
Nice pretty woods for a short walk, various pathways to follow. Popular for dog walkers, though near roads so it’s recommended dogs on lead if can’t keep under close control. Saw lots of squirrels. Good sized free car park across the road on blue boar lane (by cottage plantation).

Lovely woods. Lots of kids dens everywhere.Little kids have done little woodsy projects here and there. The woods are obviously tended, but not over so. Different bird and mammal boxes up in the trees. Loads of birdsong and lovely fresh air. One of the many sets of lungs our fine city has got to clean the air.Norwich people we are so lucky to have so many green spaces and parks. With housing going up around the city at a rate of knots, we must hope we never become as large a conurbation as places like Leicester and Brum'.The one good thing that has come out of the whole virus debacle and some would say fruitless lockdown, is that these valuable areas have seen more people than ever before, and been discovered by a wider demographic. Long may these spaces be looked after, used and cared for.

Very big with plenty of walking trails, ideal place for dog walkers and the trees are a pretty impressive size.

A piece of beautiful nature in the middle of suburbia. Old Scots Pines, main thoroughfares, smaller pathways off the beaten track. Great place for children to play.

Harrison’s Wood
Great woods for a short 1-2 mile walk. There are well established pathways around the site, and a nice little farm shop next door to get a sausage sandwich! This was historically part of Mousehold Heath and I believe was partly a wood merchant's plantation, so it's very open with little undergrowth. A hidden gem!
