Ed's in the Shed

Twice now I have taken a guitar (two different ones) to be repaired and checked over by Ed. Twice he fixed it in minutes and refused payment for it on the basis that it was only a small fix. He has a bit of a waiting list but that is because those in the know know where to take their instrument and are prepared to wait.Friendly and extremely knowledgeable, Ed has a well deserved reputation.Unfortunately it does mean I can no longer blame my guitar for the mediocre quality of my playing :-D

I came to Ed with a query about fixing my Stratocaster. He took a look and immediately found the issue and was able to fix it for me. Very kind, incredibly knowledgable and professional. Great service for me, I won't go anywhere else in future, Ed's the man.

Great to meet Ed in March. There were one or two issues with my Cordoba Fusion, mainly from drying out. Ed has done a fantastic job and the guitar is a delight to play again. Many thanks Ed, great job.

Just Picked up My 62 Reissue P bass from Ed and what can I Say I am absolutely blown away from the moment I dropped it off I knew it was in good hands. Ed’s Knowledge and Understanding on Instruments is outstanding and the finished product is perfect.Would Very Highly recommend Ed to anyone out there, the whole process has been great from choosing the parts I wanted installed onto the bass down to the string gauge I learnt many things during our brief meetings.It was an absolute pleasure to have Ed Work on my instrument and a huge thanks to him.

Cracking experience from start to finish. You will have to wait for a slot which is the only downside.Two guitars taken in with one playing much better and the other gone from completely unplayable to a fab guitar. Nice one Ed!

Hi Ed. Thanks for your great work on my guitar and those lovely pick ups! I'm beginning to find wonderful tones plugging in to the '2nd' input on the Rift and cranking up the volume, rather than being forced to use a lower volume on the 1st input and sacrificing tone because of that. It's a voyage of discovery! Great set up too and it's stayed in tune since I collected it!
