I love this place! There’s no doubt it’s one of the most beautiful pubs in Birmingham.There’s a great selection of beers and the food is always good. I absolutely loved the fish and chips last time I dinned there, best I’ve had for a long time.The waiting staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Situated very close to the train station, this Bar has a great atmosphere. It is lovely to experience a different feel pub. Great selection of gins and cocktail menu. Small lunchtime menu but sandwich wise, there were only 3 options available/left on the day of our visit. Bar Staff were chatty and helpful. Our waitress was very shy when she brought our food and didn't speak. Would visit again for drinks and to show friends.

Nice bar that is usually always busy. Bar staff were good, ask for a mystery cocktail, and they're more than happy to experiment and give you a custom drink.

Really disappointing. First time we have visited for our works Christmas party. Really expected it to be much classier. The food was disappointing and not special at all. Whilst it was served promptly and hot the potatoes weren't cooked properly and it just didn't meet our expectations. The only good point we could make were the staff were very friendly and helpful. I think we just were under the impression it was a really classy place, however, it was very loud and rowdy people shouting and swearing around us when we were trying to eat and maybe we should have done more research on where we were going. As for the toilets there were awful, didn't fit with the rest of the classy decor. Such a shame. We just went on recommendation and the beautiful decor. Doubt we will go back sadly as the building is so beautiful and interesting.

It was my birthday on the day of our visit. We decided to have the Festive menu. Bacchus offered me a voucher for complimentary drinks to celebrate my birthday. It was a lovely touch to have a bottle of wine with our meal. Waiter service attended to our every need. The meal was delicious. Thank you Bacchus ❤️

Unique place in town to gather with friends with good food and drinks in the middle. It is beautifully decorated with ancient gods style. The service is also excellent even I Peak hours.

I would have loved to have been able to spend more time here, the ambiance was perfect.The bar tender knew his stuff and so the drinks were perfect, good gins.There were a number of separate seating areas which felt quite private. The lighting was low and lots of intricate features to keep you amused.I’ll definitely be back to this subterranean little gem of a bar.

We came to this bar for one drink on a Sunday evening and ended up staying a lot longer than anticipated. The decor is incredible and very unique and the service from the bartenders was very friendly and welcoming. Will make sure to be back when I’m next in the area
