The Star Project Worcester

An absolutely smashing community hall in Whittington village. Just a few minutes walk from the bus stop, yet you're in the heart of the countryside. The hall is brand new with a large main room, a well-equipped kitchen with a serving hatch to the main room. The building is light and airy with good lighting and huge windows looking out on to the neighbouring fields. The acoustics are still a bit echoey but that's being fixed shortly with the installation of sound panels.The kitchen has plenty of cutlery and crockery, dishwasher, fridge, cooker etc but you'll need to bring everything else - tea towels, food, drink, washing up liquid etc. There's plenty of space there to cook and serve food though. And it's very clean.Hand sanitiser was provided and there's soap and paper towels in the loos. The toilets were all very clean too.As village community facilities go, this is top notch.

Whittington Hall :Eco- friendly architecture - fairly recent building.Excellent kitchen facilities and group oriented ,self- catering . Can be used for social functions up to about 200 or more. On the edge of Worcester . Disabled facilities in addition to toilets and foyer entrance .

Was great for a children's party, parking was ample too.

Went there for the dance classes, great evening and fun.

Well laid out hall that feels really fresh and modern. Parking extends around the back, so there is more than first appears (and plenty). Level access into the building (no ramps). One hob in kitchen, so plan carefully if catering for a full hall. With a hard floor, and walls the acoustics are what you would expect from a multi-purpose venue.Would use again.(Photo shows view from back carpark.)
