Plodda Falls
Really easy walk to the falls, 5-10 minutes if that. Quiet and free parking. Very beautiful area.

Plodda Falls
Beautiful waterfall, getting to the bottom of the waterfall was a challenge with a toddler. Took us an hour to walk the longer trail with two kids but they loved the quiet walk through the woods.

A delightful visit awaits individuals of all ages at this picturesque location. Not only is parking conveniently free, but it's also just a short walk away from the captivating waterfall. While the most breath taking view can be savoured from the very bottom, it's essential to note that accessing this spot can be a bit challenging, particularly during wet conditions.

Car park is 2 miles up a forestry track but there is lots of space and a picnic area. Path leads down a well made path for 400m to an airy viewing platform that gives a view vertically down the falls. Although dramatic, and giving a sense of scale this platform doesn't actually give a very good view of the falls. A much better view can be obtained by descending the path to the right of the platform. This path steeply descends steps but is well made. It leads to a great viewing point close to the base of the falls. This, in my opinion, is the better view of the falls.

Stunning Falls but the drive to the car park was interesting" !!Once off the main road there's a few miles of single track tarmac road (with the obligatory "passing points") but the last 2 miles to the car park is rough gravel

A lovely walk under the canopy of the Caledonian Forest, passing through bracken, fungi and mosses that supports a multitude of life.

Plodda Falls
The Plodda Falls is a beautiful and natural waterfall located in Scotland. The waterfall is situated in a picturesque forested area, surrounded by lush green vegetation, towering trees, and rugged cliffs. The water cascading down the falls is crystal clear and creates a soothing sound as it flows into the pool below. Visitors can hike to the top of the falls for a bird's-eye viewpoint. The Plodda Falls is a must-see destination for nature enthusiasts and those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to the Plodda Falls. The walk around the falls is lovely and the path is well maintained. It's a great place to take a picnic and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Plodda Falls
Definitely worth a visit. Track to it demands a little care. Don't think that when you've viewed it from the top you've seen the best. Worth the trek to the base.Follow the paths, lots to see, great views from top, middle, bottom. Lovely forest walks with Douglas fir, Scott's pine and even Redwood. Lots of birdlife, dippers, wrens etc.Pair of boots recommended.

A very nice short circular walk (Green and white trails). We took the white trail back, from the lower viewpoint, to make this a circular walk. DON'T PASS ON THE LOWER VIEWPOINT!

Beautiful fall, the view from the platform is really impressive. There are 2 routes you can do around the fall, a short trail (white signposted) and another one a bit longer (green one), easy an accessible just a bit longer. I highly recommend to take the green and enjoy of the river, and the stunning forest. One of the most beautiful forest I have seen, with a special charm and magic around it.
