Dealing with the Sturgess when purchasing my new used car was an absolute pleasure. The process was dealt with in a courteous and professional manner of which i have never come across before in the many cars i have purchased. The sales person Carl was courteous and put us under no pressure at all to buy. Even the GM came out to see that were happy with the car and the service we received . Will definitely be back when choosing my next car. 100% 5 star rating from me.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS…KEPT MY CAR FOR FOUR MONTHS!!! SHOCKINGLY RUDE MANAGEMENT TEAMTo cut a long story short these are the key events that followed me trusting them to fix my car (November 2022 - February 2023):-Nov They claimed to not be able to find a fault even with me asking them to look again and sending on AA teams results which had brought up a number of issues (still charging me £135 diagnostic charge)-was implied I was lying as they couldn’t find an issue (I actually doubt they even checked)-Caused me to have a very lucky near miss accident after being given back an unsafe car (which cut out all power in the middle of a dual carriageway cross roads) -I had to call the AA out for a second time at my expense-Car was then checked again and all the results under the sun came up with a large bill attached-I asked for the main issue to be looked at and the window wipers only-after this was spoken about I then didn’t hear from them without me chasing for weeks on end. Always being promised a call back but never receiving one.-at this point I filed a complaint with fiat head office aswell as the branch themselves-I was told there were not courtesy cars available as each week went past more costs for my travel to work were occurred- I managed to speak to the service manager who spoke to me in a very patronising way…asking if I knew that there was a cost of living crisis going on. And this was the reason for my wait. I explained that I was full aware and that in fact at this point I was more upset I wasn’t being kept up to date as each week rolled past and I was wasting my time chasing. He then promised to keep me up to date and call me every day (this didn’t happen in fact I never heard from Him again)-more weeks past by with no communication on their end and still no car (it was now January)- by this stage it was getting very frustrating I raised further complaints and was finally passed onto to the general manager plus the customer service manager.-the customer service managers tone of emails made it sound as though I was in the wrong for complaining or even asking why it was taking so long to get my part and fix my car-by this stage if spent so much on travel and was having to say no to seeing friends and family due to not having a car-a phone call with the general manager ended up with me in tears after being spoken to in the worst manner and of all those I’d spoken to at the company. He actually ended up putting the phone down on me after not being able to answer why I’ve been treated in such a way and why he was suddenly claiming that they had no courtesy cars at all even though the service manager had told me they had 15.-following this I kept in contact with the customer service manager via email and was waiting for a call from the team when I received an email to say there service team member dealing with my case had left the business but also to let me know after nearly three months of waiting the part had arrived however it wasn’t the correct part!!!- to which I asked the customer service manager to confirmed was it the fault of Fiat or ordered incorrectly? ..it was confirmed it was order incorrectly ..ofcourse I wasn’t shocked by this stage-what was funny was how suddenly a car was found only at this stage for me to borrow for afew weeksA word of warning to the wise. Avoid this garage …I would believe this garage is very close to closing down as they are clearly struggling with both staff and the services they provide

Picked up our 2nd new Fiat within the space of 6 weeks from Sturgess last weekend. Great service from Amy and the team who were willing to do that extra bit to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and help facilitate the 'deals'. A refreshing change from other local dealers (Coventry I shouldn't mention them really *cough* Research / Allen Ford / Suttons) who talked the talk but failed spectacularly to walk the walk.

This is my second experience of purchasing a car from Sturgess, I have been very happy with the service as they seems to go the extra mile to seal the deal. On 15 August '19 I was served by James who was very easy to talk to and not remotely pushy. I ws initially disappointed with the car options I had to choose from on a tight budget but after a couple of test drives and a lot of discussion I decided on a Suzuki Baleno. I'm very happy with the car, a lot more leg room and boot space and just feels more robust, quieter with the added features of sat nav, air con and reverse guide. Thanks Sturgess.

Having an older Volvo we have been looked after extremely well. There is no pressure to change it for a newer model and the staff are excellent. We are told what any repairs are going to cost beforehand and there is no pressure. Customer service is excellent and they could certainly teach others how to treat customers. I would recommend this company to anyone. We will always be taking the car back to them in the future.

I won't be a repeat customer...Fast and responsive right up until the point of my vehicle delivery, after which their salesperson didn't respond to most of my emails and they sorted a couple of fairly prominent issues (on a car that had been described as perfect) in their own time, well and truly taking the edge off the experience.Attempts to communicate with senior management were stonewalled and overall the service was far below that I'd expect buying a £30K car. Having previously used both Cinch and Cazoo, I can say they were massively superior and would not recommend anyone buys a car from Sturgess.

Dealing with Sturgess Leicester for the purchase of a new Land Rover has been a refreshing experience, in a world of under-performing dealers. Having been bored by poor service locally, I chose a dealership 90 miles away, which was recommended by a friend. Glad I did, couldn't be happier with the personal service I received and the support and advice during the buying process from Daniel Farrell. My car was delivered on time and with quite a ceremony. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and engaging and they clearly have a passion for looking after their customers and cars. Outstanding!

Travelled to Leicester to meet with Nigel to view an Evoque and from the minute we arrived we were looked after at the front desk and offered refreshments. Nigel was very prompt for our appointment and extremely helpful and took the time to address our questions and go through the entire purchasing process with us. Even though we were buying an approved Landrover, we were treated as if we were buying the top spec Range Rover, with no pressure selling on either the car or the products. A totally pleasurable experience would definitely recommend Nigel and the dealership to provide you with that extra special customer service.

We bought a lovely White Renault Megane Covertable last Saturday and just wanted to say how pleased we are with the car as well as the level of service we received. We travelled a long way to view the car we saw online and we were not disappointed.Kiril was great, very friendly and honest, he had nothing to hide, as my husband actually works for a Renault main dealer as a senior technician, and we were able to check the car over thoroughly.We would definitely recommend Sturgess in Leicester as all the staff were great but a special thank you to Kiril.

I have just purchased a used Land Rover Discovery from Richard at Sturgess Leicester and had a very refreshing experience. I am very happy with the car, and the buying experience was relaxed and honest. No pressure, and a practical approach to what options that were available to me after having very recently bought a car that did not suite our needs. Richard was friendly and seemed genuinely interested in making me make the correct purchase. I went away from Sturgess without the usual dribble of fuel in the tank and three Kangaroos and an umbrella. The coffee Machine was out of order but you can not win them all.Great experience, thanks RichardGerrard Kenny
