It's a railway station. It is not the most futuristic or impressive of stations so I would only ever give it 4 stars. However, a railway station is for everyone, especially in London, where we welcome visitors from abroad. I had trouble finding my way to some of the more obscure platforms that seemed not to be well signposted. If I had issues then I fear visitors would be confused as well. Hence the 3 stars.

There is always something to see and do and places to goto from here and borough market is just across the road.

Not a good station for wheelchair users as the lifts never work 2022 and most stations can't be used by wheelchair users why change a disabled friendly station to this eyesore we want access to trains at a station not over priced shops

Continuing as a rail interchange during this period of restrictions on travel. The spaceis relatively well organised. There is a minority of travellers who wear no face mask - and more who wear one partially/inadequately. This appears not to be policed, and the interchange (mostly below ground/covered) does not feel thoroughly safe as a result.

It's hard to fault this station the design, access, and style along with the location so close to borough market suggest that you should all start your journey here if visiting London
