Printworks is a good dormitory, and I have encountered no issues with my room. The staff are generally friendly and willing to help, and the location is excellent. However, value-wise, Printworks cannot compete to neighbouring accomodations, and the state of the communal facilities, including: most of the kitchens (stoves, sinks, ovens, countertops), the Game room (pool table + Füßball) and the gym are outdated and underwhelming. Although Printworks is not the most competitive, I have so far enjoyed my time here, and might even renew for next year.Good luck to all prospective students!

This place is in a great location and the staff are very friendly. But our apartment was filthy, it hadn't been cleaned before we checked in yet we was told to leave by ten so that the cleaners could clean it ready for the next guests.

No mattress protector, unwashed bed sheets, potential bed bugs. Cancelled after our first night.

Not the best student accommodation. My boyfriend lived there for 2 years. Rooms are generally very small and phenomenally overpriced. Not much of a student community as the residents are about 80% international. Staff are mostly nice especially the security guard but one of them (about 50, bald, and white - not the security guard) made a very creepy and sexist comment about a young girl to my boyfriend. I would definitely recommend finding somewhere else to live.

It was good for me and my boyfriend to just sleep there as we just needed a place to sleep as we went to discover Devon, however, it was noisy, the kitchen was very dirty, a bin in the room would be really helpful and also if at least coffe and tea was provided will make it better. As a student accommodation building maybe is good. I don't have anything to complain about but just a few things that i wanted to point out.

Room space is relatively generous and quite clean with a good desk, comfortable bed and an en-suite which is more-or-less what you would expect from a student accommodation. Storage space not bad. There was only one major outage in a year living there (and a few spotty connections here and there), so WiFi is stable enough. Location is fine for access to the city centre - getting to campus requires a 20-25 minute walk uphill. Security is good. The reception and maintenance staff are friendly. My room was on the ground floor in an area of the building which was practically subterranean - it received pretty minimal natural light year-round, as well as virtually no mobile signal. Pretty niche issue probably specific to a comparatively small number of rooms, but something worth noting.On-site facilities pretty disappointing. The laundry room in particular is quite poor, with washing machines which make clothes smell mouldy even with an extra laundry pod and dryers which very often do not properly dry clothes, even if the load is well below the ‘maximum’ mark. Finally, gym is very small - aside from a dual cable machine and 2 leg machines the equipment consists solely of cardio. I’d recommend organising a viewing if you’re an experienced gym-goer and having a free one on-site is important to you.Overall, living at The Printworks is an average experience - acceptable value for money and will do the job as a student accommodation, but nothing special.

Dirty and filthy accommodation. My work booked us this for a week and we walked into old food on the floor hair clumps over the shared living space and in the rooms. One tiny saucepan provided to cook with in a self catering place. Asked for a bath towel for myself and my two colleges got given 1 bath mat. The staff or as clueless as the rooms are bad. Disgusting worse place I’ve ever stayed at

One of the best accommodations in Exeter. Great location and security and the foosball and pool tables are so much fun!

Great accommodation, really loved staying here this year, a luxury in comparison to most university dorms. Only issue is the noise from Unit 1 and the smoke from it's smoking area that can reach up to the C block windows if they're open. But, very happy overall!

Good value for money, nice accommodation, bed is not double bed it's smaller size than double, only good for 1 person to sleep, struggling for 2 people. Kitchen size was good and cutlery was fine, good central location, no free parking, but lots of paid parking around, all shops and food places nearby. Accommodation is basic standard as its good for students mainly but it was reasonably priced. Gave 4 stars as bed was small size, 2 people struggling to sleep, also windows open on main road and Also in back communal area, very noisy at night time so have to close windows to sleep at night. Survived as I had fan with me. Overall its a good neat place to stay
