On first impression Dan seemed like a very nice guy and held the van for longer than usual which was appreciated. Very soon after purchasing the vehicle it became clear that major faults were present. ( Gearbox Damaged, Rear Suspension issues). This is when his tone changed. It took a week to get in contact with Dan, eventually he offered a refund on the vehicle but minus my deposit which is against the Consumer rights act. He said I could either accept his offer or take him to court. Not having the time or capacity to keep the vehicle during the court process I accepted his offer.The whole process brought me a great deal of stress in what should have been a simple rejection of the vehicle. It seemed to me that Dan saw a weakness in me and exploited it to his own gain.This vehicle (Peugeot Boxer) is still for sale on eBay so please make sure that the faults I experienced have been fixed before purchase.
