How can a wood yard not have any wood?. Disgusting costumer service, speak down on you like they are better than you. Rang up to see if they had what I wanted in stock and they said yes, as soon as I come to pick it up it’s just gone magically out of stock. Staff really need some training on how to speak to customers because that was horrific

When they first opened spot on lads couldn't do enough for you customer service was profesional and respectful. They were really useful when I was working by there depo. But i'v been using them for about 2 years nw and it's slipped there customers service is very poor I phoned up Saturday and ask for price for a lot of timber and i was spending over £400, the lad who answered was totally rude and rushy and couldn't be bothered attitude. I usually don't write bad reviews but after trying to order parts today it happend again, it seems they dont cope well under pressure. Completly different lad as well. Don't get me wrong their are lads on the yard who are spot on a specially the oldsh fella can't do enough for you and the manager who spot also. Sorry but I'll be cancelling my account and will not be using again.

Best kept secret in Chester. Tucked away on an industrial estate is one of the biggest and well stocked builders merchants you could find. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I have opened an account as I won't be going anywhere else.

I came here for the first time to look for new patio slabs and everything else that would be needed to lay them. As I was initially indecisive, I made a few visits and met several different members of staff from reception, the office and outside too - everyone was extremely helpful. I highly recommend. Good, well stocked Builders Merchant with excellent selection of timber, which they will cut to size free of charge.I have visited many times during lock down and always found the staff friendly and helpful.

I've been in Property Development for over 55 years. When Boys Boden opened at Bretton a colleague told me to give them a try.Fortunately I have met some of the best staff I have ever had to work with. On top of that they have given very sound advice.Yes I'm now 76 years old but I can still do all of mine and my families home improvements.Many thanks Boys Boden. 100% absolutely excellent. Their prices are spot on, the staff always very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I used to go to my local merchant 5 minutes down the road, whilst it's only an extra 25 minutes to BB I'd still go if they were an hour away. Couldn't praise BB Chester enough.

Deal with staff in outside building materials. Spot on and helpful. Prices are average but would drive 10 miles further than go to Jewson or Beesley and Fileys where poor service and high prices

I visited Boys and Boden today for the first time today. I was hoping for some advice on the available product selection and I was both delighted and grateful to have been greeted by Vic in the yard. My order may have been small on this occasion but Vic went out of his way to afford me both his knowledge and time to show me a wide range of product choices. I will definitely be using Boys and Borden for most hardware needs going forward.
