Abused axolotls on gravel clearly impacted and emaciated. I saw gravel inside their stomachs. It is well documented that axolotls die when kept on Gravel and this can be confirmed with a Google search. Please buy from a local breeder to avoid buying a sickly, starving, and abused pet. Worst part is that there was sand for sale that would have been suitable for axolotls, right under their tank. Also they misspelt axolotl as axelotl which is telling. My phone wasn't charged so I don't have images. Note. Young axolotls can translucent skin so I could see inside.

Such friendly and knowledgeable staff, so nice to be looked after by an enthusiast, who genuinely cares about his craft. Reasonably priced and a good selection too - our favourite local aquatic shop!

Knowledgable and friendly. Also called to check stock in advance - really helpful. Healthy fish and were only to happy to help when arrived. Competative pricing. Smaller outdoor area but was after aquarium fish this time so cannot comment. Would and will return!

Where to start, firstly the name Pondakoi, you may think by the name you would expect to find Koi as the name suggests. No Koi and a very little range of fish the prices were on the cheap side compared to other companies. Another thing was out of date products, ie fish safe glass sealant. Again another shop where there was no acknowledgement from staff with a good morning or please ask if you need anything, even though we walk past them entering and leaving the shop?

This place is the best pet store I've ever been to. The variety of fish is great and the prices are very good. I would highly recommend this store to anyone who is looking to buy a fish or other pet.

Came in on Friday to get some plants for my 4ft tank overhaul I was doing. And safe to say I left spending way more than planned and extras! I felt comfortable spending more due to his help and knowledge. He was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! I 100% recomend going for any of your fishy friends needs! I will be back soon for many more plants and possibly the sultan pleco!! Thank you so much again! But I don't think I'll have olaf with me next time lol.

Has ordered specific fish and parts in for me, has always been competitive on price and the shop has a lovely and well presented set up. Not sure when the the 2 star review was written? But fish and plants are seasonal, so perhaps" that was the case - speculation of course."
