Moments and Memories - Funeral & Wedding Celebrant

We lost my mum in May and Christine was recommended to us as the celebrant for her funeral.From our first meeting to the funeral itself Christine was wonderfully kind, caring, thoughtful and also a great guide. Christine helped us through all the steps we needed to consider for the funeral itself, selecting music, poems and also noting key information about my mum's life.At the funeral itself Christine had taken our thoughts and wishes with regard to how we would like our mum to be remembered and gave us an unforgettable service with just the right pace, time for reflection and care.Following the service I was approached by many of those present who said, given it was a funeral, it was the best service they had ever attended. Some of this was down our own preparations of course but Christine really made sure everything came together as we would have wanted and no detail was too small.Thank you again Christine.

Chris helped myself and family through a very sad time, she guided us and helped with finding some lovely meaningful poems, hymns and music and was so good at getting the eulogy just perfect too. After taking the service, everyone said how well it went and how lovely it was. Everything she did and asked, put us at ease and she was so caring and professional. She came to visit us the day before taking the service of a dear Aunt, and that service was really special, aswell as the one for our dear mum/nan. Thank you so much Chris.

Christine is such a profound and calming person. She was wonderful in dealing with my mum's funeral, making what could have been traumatic an easy and happy time to plan a celebration of life. Mum would have loved to be at her service. I first contacted Christine in September 2019 following the death of my Mother-in-Law and having received a recommendation from another family member. We found Christine to be a lovely lady, kind and sympathetic, as well as being totally professional. From initially being in a situation where we did not have a clue what to do, she effectively “held our hands” and guided us through the whole event with many suggestions and alternatives for the service. Sadly, the death of my Father-in-Law followed a few months later, so we asked Christine to officiate again in January this year and once again, she proved to be “a star”! Thanks to Christine, both services were just lovely and many of those attending have asked us to let them have her contact details for when they might need her in the future.

My husband and I recently attended the wedding blessing of two very good friends of ours.Chris conducted the ceremony in such a warm and caring way. She has such a lovely disposition that instantly puts you relaxed and at ease.The day was wonderful and we would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Christine gave us a blessing at our wedding reception (after the formal proceedings),which was so appropriate with well chosen and beautiful words ,which were perfect for the occasion ,with many guests saying how thoughtful and appropriate her address was and delivered in a warm hearted and professional manner.We would not hesitate to recommend her services.

Wow, what can I say .Christine came to my home to discuss my late mothers preferences for her funeral service .I had found some poems and songs that mum wanted so we worked around those things .Christine was warm, friendly, understanding and she put me at ease at such a difficult sad time.She gave us pointers for writing the eulogy and her communication throughout was impeccable.Everything went perfectly yesterday with amazing fed back from all that attended.Sweet, short , light humour , just perfect .What a Star you are .Would strongly recommend Christine to anybodyAli Chapman xx

From our very first meeting, we knew that Chris was the perfect celebrant for our son’s naming day ceremony. She is open to ideas but provides guidance where needed. We had so many lovely comments about her warm and friendly nature on the day and her relaxed approach had us all at ease.
